Evenflo REO by Revolve 360 Rotating Convertible Car Seat

Bought this a few weeks ago not thrilled about the weight max . But the straps feel very cheap an and the seat as well. The rotation is great but definitely could use some work on this

I wanted the green reo but was sent the blue one. The car seat does what it needs to do although I can’t figure out how to tighten the straps so my baby’s head doesn’t hang when she falls asleep. Over a good car seat just disappointed that my baby girl is in a blue car seat.

Had I known that this carseat was under an ongoing investigation I would not have bought it. I have to return it back at my own expense. Maddening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, my experience with the Evenflo REO by Revolve360 Rotational Convertible Car Seat has been largely positive. I'm really glad we received it through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The installation is incredibly easy, the QR code video link on the QuickStart guide takes the guess work out of installation, giving me peace of mind that I did it correctly. The seat feels sturdy and safe and the “spinning chair” makes getting in and out of the car a positive experience for my kids. The one handed rotation is surprisingly easy to use. It's less of a struggle with my squirming monkey - I mean toddler - in a tight space. Being able to swivel the seat towards me makes buckling and unbuckling quicker and easier than before. I especially appreciate this feature in narrow parking situations or when unloading a sleeping kiddo. I also have a much easier time untangling twisted seat harnesses (how do they always get so twisted?). I do wonder if the smooth rotation will become less so over time as more kid crumbs fall into the seat. We have a lot of car snacks. Only time and my level of dedication to cleanliness will tell. The seat doesn't feel overly bulky and its comparable to other convertible seats. I drive a smaller SUV so I’ll take all the space I can get. If fits fine in our hatchback car as well. Crucially, I am able to use the seat for either of my 2 children. One who is forward facing and the other who is still rear facing. My older child did complain about “getting hot” on a longer drive but I imagine it’s because I had left the extra padding installed for the younger child. We tested it for both, but mostly use if for our rear facing dude. What I liked most about this car seat is hands down the 360° rotation - a feature I didn’t know I needed until I had it! It transforms the daily chore of car seat loading and unloading into a smooth experience. I would recommend a rotational car seat to every parent. Specifically, this one has worked very well for us.

This car seat exceeded my expectations! Once it was set up in the car, I’m able to do what I need with one hand! I can adjust the height, turn the seat without any struggle. This is compact in design which leads to more room in the back seat! I have 2 little ones so more room was very much needed! This seat will grow with my youngest so I won’t need to buy a second seat for her as she grows! I love it comes with the inserts so as she grows, I can remove the extra inserts to give her more room. A cup or bottle holders also on each side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Evenflos newest 360 car seat. I think this car seat makes a good car seat, for those with smaller weight/height kids. It turns easily with one hand which is helpful, let’s be honest, who doesn’t want a one handed swivel with a car seat, especially with multiples. It is easy to adjust the headrest, but I don’t like not being able to change the recline without uninstalling the car seat. Cup holders stay in nicely due to them twisting in which is a huge plus, and they are easily accessible! My biggest disadvantage, I would like this car seat even more if it was possible to change the recline setting without uninstalling, especially if using it for more than one kiddo. I would also like to see higher weight limits, especially for forward facing, at 40 pounds kids have just reached the minimum for a booster seat, 43 inches also seems small. I wish it higher limits so it would be the last harnessed car seat needed for a kid before a booster. Thank you Stellar Panel for allowing me to try this car seat out.

Total game changer. This seat combines comfort, convenience, and compact design in a way I didn’t know was possible. Let’s talk about the 360° one-hand rotation a true sanity saver. Getting my daughter in and out of the car used to be a daily wrestling match. Now, I just reach, squeeze, and swivel her right into place. It’s so simple. I actually forgot it rotated the first day, but after using it once, I was hooked. I can’t imagine going back to a traditional seat. The compact design is a quiet hero here. Not only is my daughter riding in comfort, but my son can finally fold down the center armrest and use the cup holders, something he’s never been able to do without pushing her seat over with our other car seats hogging the backseat. Big win for everyone. Adjusting the seat for a proper fit was easy. The comfort inserts made a noticeable difference,my daughter’s head didn’t slump forward like it did in other seats, even with extra inserts I’ve purchased in the past. It’s a smooth ride for her and peace of mind for me. Installation was quick and almost foolproof. I even taught my sister (who doesn’t have kids)to install it, and she nailed it without any frustration. The whole setup is refreshingly intuitive. My favorite thing? Honestly, it’s the whole package. The REO took the daily car seat struggle and flipped it, literally and figuratively. It’s easy, it’s safe, and it’s actually enjoyable to use. I love how I can 360 rotate my toddler in and out of the car seat without accidentally bumping his head on the car roof trying to get him into the car or bending his body awkwardly to get into the car seat. With this car seat, I can just rotate the car seat towards me and get him out easily and back into the car. I also love how compact the car seat is. I have a small sedan so the back seat is already cramped but with this car seat, I have more room to move about. I can actually sit in the middle back seat now! It was also very easy to install and made the car seat very secured. I also love how comfortable it is for my toddler. He's not squirming trying to get out for feeling uncomfortable. This car seat has a lot of cushion all around so it made my toddler feel more comfortable. I also love the 11 backseat positions to adjust to the proper height of my growing toddler. It's very important that a carseat can be used for years and years and adjust to my toddlers height as he grows. Overall I love this car seat. I cannot recommend this car seat enough. It has great cushion for comfort, easy 360 rotation to avoid your toddler hitting their heads on the car roof or twisting their bodies awkwardly trying to get them into the carseat, and the 11 backseat positions adjusts with your growing toddler for years to come. This is actually the first one I’ve ever used. Installing the seat is pretty simple, I read the manual and just followed the simple instructions. There is a QR code attached to the seat with videos to help with any confusion. The lower anchors have a plastic piece I’ve never seen before. I can’t help but wonder how well these plastic pieces will hold up over time. My little girl is almost 2 and weighs less than 20 pounds. Lately she has been anti car seat. This car seat has made it extremely easy to put her in due to the one handed swiveling technology. When turning her to face the rear, I’ve noticed I need to remind her to keep her feet up. She’s quickly catching on and really starting to love it! One thing that really stands out to me is the head rest. You can tell it was really designed to protect a littles head and neck in a collision. Along with the seat being very protective it also has a high end look and feel. I love that the cup holders are detachable and top rack dishwasher safe. My favorite thing about this seat is when it’s turned to the side my other children have plenty of room to climb past it into the car. However, when turned to the side it does take up a little bit of the middle seat space. I plan to use this seat for a very long time because of how well it’s built and how easily it will grow with my child.

The car seat was super easy to install and turn with one hand, and made fitting 5 kids in our car so much easier. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It has a lot of pros and a fair number of cons for me. Cons: In the rear facing setting my 11 month old's head dips forward too much for my liking when he fell asleep. I found I kept checking on him trying to adjust his head as this was not an issue with his previous car seat. There is a lot of extra padding, which was comfy but a excessive for my little guy so I had to remove all the extra things so he would fit in the car seat. He is about 20 pounds. The latch clips do not "click" into place which I kept double checking during installation. The swivel aspect is nice but I feel like the seat shifts a little once locked into place. Now for the pros! I really liked the color and look of the seat! It was very easy to swivel the seat around and made loading my little guy up super easy. So easy my husband actually exclaimed, "I like that!" when he saw it swivel. I actually had to move the car seat 3 different times and it was really easy to uninstall. It got easier to move with practice, the base section is pretty heavy. The installation was pretty normal, I did not have to do anything extra than what I normally do to get a car seat secured. Just some size information: I was unable to fit this seat in my backseat with my other 2 current car seats but it might fit with 3 of this type of car seat. With all 3 spaces taken up I would not be able to swivel any of them though. My 4 year was at the top end of this car seat but my 3 year old and my 11 month old fit fine with a little space to grow for my 3 year old. I could see using this easily if I had to pick up a friend's kids. I would not feel comfortable using this on a newborn because of all the extra padding and the recline didn't seem enough for a small baby in the rear facing position. Although I'm not gushing to recommend this product I would be happy to let a friend use it if the wanted to decide if it would fit in their car or if they like the swivel aspect.

I have mixed feelings about the Evenflo REO by Revolve360 Rotational Convertible Car Seat. For some background, I have a 20-month-old that weighs around 23 lbs and is about 32 inches tall. The vehicle that we have installed this car seat in is a 2016 Jeep Renegade. The REO comes with a very squishy infant insert and feels very soft and comfortable. It was relatively simple to take off, but I feel like it will be much more tricky to reattach those pieces. The car seat padding overall feels very soft and luxurious. However, the cup holders feel sort of cheap and they are very easily bent. The instruction materials had a QR code that linked to a video that showed installation instructions. I loved that element, and it made it so simple to get it all set in the car. This car seat does NOT fit well in our Jeep Renegade when in the rear-facing setting. We installed the car seat behind the passenger seat because the chair has to be fully pushed and tilted forward. We will not be able to use this car seat if anyone ever needs to sit in the passenger seat. Now for the fun part: rotating the car seat is a piece of cake to do with one hand. My child thought it was so fun to "spin" into place. There is an audible click when the seat has locked into the base. The manual is clear in saying that the car seat always needs to be locked into the forward or rear-facing modes when the vehicle is in motion. I could see that being an issue for a family that may forget. I'm not sure what the safety would be to get into an accident with it not locked. Tightening and loosening the straps is super easy using the push button and tightening strap. It feels really smooth and you don't have to break your back trying to pull the strap. One feature I love is that written on the chest clip is, "Place at armpit level." There can be confusion about where the chest clip needs to be, especially for occasional caregivers. This is a great detail that goes above and beyond. Overall, the car seat is very comfortable and was easy to install. Parts of it felt luxurious and well made, while other elements left more to be desired. I don't know how comfortable I am with the rotating seat, as I feel like I could be left second guessing that I heard the "click" locking it into place. It also did not fit well in our car, but it may work better for those with larger vehicles. There are many pros and cons to the REO Rotational Convertible Car Seat, and whether or not this is the right product would depend on the needs of each family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I received this carseat through Stellar Product Testing Panel literally days after I gave birth to our second baby. I was excited to test it out in the postpartum phase using it for my 2 year old (it does have the padding to use with an infant but I prefer the carrier carseat for babies). Compared to other carseats he has installed, my husband said the ease of installation was good, pretty simple and straightforward. And the awesome part is once the seat is installed, you don’t have to re-install it for forward facing, just rotate it 180 degrees! While we could have done forward facing for our 33 lb daughter, we stuck with rear facing for increased safety. My main complaint with the carseat is that it maxes out at 40 lbs so it will not transition to forward facing for long if at all with my daughter who is big for her age - we will probably have to use a different carseat for forward facing due to how young she will be when she hits the limits of this one. My only other concerns are not complaints for us, but could be issues for those looking to fit more than 2 carseats in a backseat. While the carseat does have a more narrow profile than other carseats we’ve used, when you rotate it, sideways, it takes up a lot of the middle seat space (see picture) which would make it challenging to use with three carseats/boosters in a row. In our Honda Accord, we couldn’t fit 3 seats anyway, but not sure if that might be a limiting factor in an SUV or minivan. Also, in the rear facing mode, the back of the seat hits the driver’s seat when my 6 ft husband is driving. Again, it’s not enough to be an issue for us, but for a taller person or a more compact car, that could be a concern. Now all that being said, being postpartum, it is fantastic that I can rotate the seat and my 2 year old can climb into it herself with minimal adjustments on my part, helping me avoid heavy lifting in these early weeks! The carseat then rotates very easily back to rear facing and clicks into place so I know it’s secure. Even without being postpartum, this seat will be much easier on my back when buckling her in and out and assisting as needed! My independent toddler also loves being able to get in and out on her own (though she still needs spotted just to be safe). Even though she’s big and tall, she still seems very comfortable even in the more compact seat and doesn’t seem squished at all. The buckles are all very easy to use and adjust! Overall, I think the Evenflo REO is a great car seat, and makes transferring kids in and out of the car much easier than a standard carseat. I’m not convinced it would be super compact for those who need it when rotated, and the weight limit is lower than other carseats, which can be an issue if you have big-for-their-age kids. Apart from those concerns I would definitely recommend this carseat, and I am super grateful we have it with a new baby and a toddler!

I have been using this car seat for my son in the rear facing position because of his age and have only encountered slight trouble with the install. With the base having rotational capabilities, it is a bit heavier and takes a bit of maneuvering to get it positioned right and latched in appropriately. Once properly installed, the rotational concept is fantastic making it easier to get my child out of my SUV. The durable fabric definitely feels of quality and the colors blend nicely. I can appreciate the fact that this car seat can grow with my child and we will be able to get long continued use with this product. My favorite aspect of this infant car seat is how padded the lining is and adding extra comfort for my child. I did notice that the buckle between my son’s leg seems to press down into his legs so I will continue to work on making adjustments and see if that changes that small issue. Overall, I am happy to of received this product and feel that the more I continue to use it for my son, the more pleased I will be with this car seat!

We have this in my husband’s truck so the tricky install was likely due to the truck not being as optimal as our Pacifica. So simple to get my little guy in and out of. I LOVE the rotational feature! So convenient! I’ll never go back to a stationary seat! The rotation is that awesome! The color is great, simple and clean looking. I have. It had to clean it much yet but a wet wash cloth took care of what I needed cleaned up. Adjusting the seat to fit my 18 month old was a breeze, no trouble at all! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very impressed with this rotating car seat. There are a few features that really set this one apart for other rotating car seats. 1. It is lightweight AND is airplane compliant! I have had several other rotating car seats over the years and none have been compliant for an airplane, in addition the others have been extremely heavy and bulky, therefore not practical to bring through the airport. With this seat I would feel confident brining it on the plane to ensure my child’s safety throughout all aspects of our travel. 2. Very easy install/latch release system. The latch system has a grey piece on the front and back which allows the clip to be released much easier while still maintaining safety. Other seats have an all metal clip and it is very difficult to release, especially if the latch hooks in the car are far behind the seat cushion. I was also able to install this seat in only a few minutes, the straps tightened very easily. 3. It fits very well in a smaller slanted back seat! My husband has a luxury car which makes getting a safe recline in car seats rather difficult. The recline foot in combination with the green and red safety indicator gave me piece of mind that my car seat is safety installed even for the smallest babies. 4. The seat rotates very easily! I don’t love the placement of button to release the seat but it works so smoothly I really can’t complain. This seat was the perfect addition for my husbands car and has already made getting kids in and out of his car so much smoother. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I pulled this car seat out of the box my jaw was on the floor with how slim it appeared I knew instantly that it was going to fit perfectly next to our other two car seats! The installation process was very simple which is much appreciated as a busy mom. The best feature of this car seat would be the one-hand 360 rotation. It made loading my 1 year old so simple by having him face me to make sure his harness is properly secured. When I rotated the seat he even giggled like it was a fun ride. I really appreciate the compact design of this car seat as the backseat of our smaller SUV has 3 car seats across. My 5 year old sits in the middle so when I rotate the seat it does slightly get in her way but it’s not a deal breaker we still love everything about this car seat.
