The installation was quick and hassle-free, and the one-hand, 180° rotation has been a total game-changer for getting my baby in and out of the car. As a mom to now 3 kiddos I have had more than my share of car seats and this one is definitely souped up with all the fancy bells and whistles. Setting the tech components aside, the seat itself is great. The fabrics are soft and comfortable for baby and I love that they are eco-friendly and made free from added chemicals. The seat is super light, which is important when I want to leave baby in the seat to carry her in for a quick errand, and much appreciated for a post c-section with lifting restrictions. The ability to easily rotate the seat is awesome and makes in/out for stops like daycare so much easier - never again will I get a seat that doesn't rotate because fighting to clip baby in awkwardly over a rear facing seat is a disaster. The base was super easy to install, with the LATCH method, but I like that there is a seat belt option for the seat even without the base should we use it when we travel (even has instructions in guide for plane use). Onto the tech. Firstly, in case it isn't obvious the seat uses Bluetooth to communicate to an app on caregivers phone, both for the buckle safety feature and the lights/sound. I am fine with this, but I know some don't want it used near baby. It was easy to install the 4 AA batteries in the seat, though I am interested in how often these will have to be changed with regular use. The seat-belt clip with safety features on the app are great - it sends alerts to your phone, such as telling you baby is in the car and on our recent car trip gave me a warning it was time to consider a break which is a great safety feature. You can even have it set to alert a family member if you leave the buckled seat in car and separate your phone from car (such as going into a building). The lights and sounds are a high-end feature, but do seem to calm and distract baby and being able to control it from the phone rather than having to reach over to back seat is great when baby is crying in the car. The seat and app were easy to install, from opening the box to all installed, including app set-up, was less than 30 minutes. As far as downsides, the sun shade seems a little flimsy, but does work to shield light at the back part of the seat over baby's head. But perhaps the biggest downside I have is that I don't have a stroller that this seat works with and as a mom of 3 I have many strollers - there is a limited selection of strollers from the company that it will work with and it doesn't seem to be compatible with any of the strollers I already have. If I were to buy this seat myself I would have to explore and consider those options as having an easy fold stroller baby's seat can quickly clip into for longer errands is important in my mind.

Overall, this car seat seems like a good choice for anyone wanting extra tech features as part of their car seat. The chest clip provides feedback when clipped and within range of the parent’s phone, through an easy to download and use app. Additionally, a sound machine and lights are built into the handle for soothing during car rides. Both of these features were new to me, and very easy to understand and utilize. My baby loved the lights and soothing sounds during our car rides, and they were not invasive to me as the driver. The quality of the seat was a bit lacking compared to my expectation. I appreciate car seats that don’t have chemicals or flame retardants, which this one meets those standards. However, the material feels a bit rougher than I expected; although seemed to be comfortable for my baby (2 weeks old). Installing the base could not have been easier! I used the latch clips, and it took me less than a minute to achieve a safe installation. The built-in level took the guessing away from a proper install. Adjusting the seat to fit my baby proved to be a bit more time consuming, but was straight forward when I referred to the manual while adjusting. The harness at shoulder level or below was a bit difficult to adjust, but finally lowered enough to be safe. Once in the adjusted seat, my baby seemed comfortable as well as appropriately secured. Overall, this seat seems like a good choice for anyone who wants an easy to install, tech-savvy seat with extra safety features. A parent purchasing this should have a smart phone to fully appreciate the safety and tech features. Because of the incredibly easy install, this would be ideal for a first time parent or caregiver. As a mom of 3, with my littlest being 2 weeks, I especially loved the Revolve 180 feature. This allowed me to place my infant’s seat in the car, rotate and have room for my older two to climb into their seats - I have not experienced this with other infant carrier seats. While a little lacking in my expectation of overall quality and fabric feel, if the other features offered are desired that won’t be a deal breaker when purchasing. I would recommend this seat to my friends who are first time parents or have multiples and would most benefit from the tech and Revolve 180 features.

Adjustment of the seat was quick and easy and installation was a breeze. The weight of the car seat is perfect for carrying especially with the amount of bells and whistles this car seat has to offer. This is perfect for our newborn with the softness of the fabrics that are free of flame retardants and added chemicals. I loved the use of technology combined with the ease of a 180 rotating car seat. It make it so easy getting my newborn in and out. I LOVE the that the handle has a built in sound machine as well as the soothing light feature. We never travel without a sound machine for our little one in the car so this just makes our life so much easier. The Evenflo app was very user friendly and made for an easy set up for the SensorSoothe as well as the SensorSafe feature. Living in Florida it can get extremely warm and I love that these features help to ensure my baby is at a comfortable temperature in the backseat. Now I just need to hunt down/purchase the stroller system that is compatible with this because I am in love!

The bells & whistles on this car seat are perhaps not necessary, but certainly helpful during a longer car ride with a four-month old that only takes cat naps! We really like the fact that the car seat is all black - it's pretty aesthetically pleasing, especially for something that comes with lights and sounds. It's a bit bulkier than the car seat we had previously used (though that one was particularly light), but it seems to keep our daughter comfy and content. The canopy is the one part that feels a little cheap, at least compared to other seats we've used, but it gets the job done. I am not a tech savvy person, and the app is actually really easy to use, and it was easy to setup the SensorSafe and Sensory Soothe features! We found it really helpful to program Siri to be able to turn on/off the features. Hands-free features are a game changer once you are a parent. Our daughter was really captivated by the lights! (as you can see by her body language in the photos!) Her little face was in awe when we first tested it out. We will probably only use them on occasion so she doesn't start to rely on these features while in the car. The SensorSafe features are great for peace of mind. I haven't had the seat long enough to be able to speak to the durability, but I am hoping spit-up and drool don't cause it to stop working at some point! The rotation of the car seat is an added bonus, especially because we have a car that is lower to the ground and this was helpful on our backs! Not always necessary, though, because at this age, we are still taking her car seat out of the car most of the time. The installation process was quick and hassle-free. This car seat is perfect for maneuvering in and out thanks to the 180 degree rotation without disturbing the baby! The features that are included are not needed, but they definitely make things as a parent easier. Being able to have multiple options to help soothe my daughter while we are driving is such a great convenience. The app is simple to use, and I especially appreciated the safety feature that alerts if you walk too far from the seat. As a mom to three kids, it brings peace of mind knowing that I have something helping my mental load of keeping them safe. Installing the car seat was simple and seems very secure. The instructions were very easy to follow. I love that the car seat is free from flame retardants, but the car seat did still have a smell when we first set it up, which slowly faded with time. As for the rotation of the car seat, I find that I don't use it as much since I often carry my infant in the seat. With that said, when I do get them out, being able to rotate the seat make it so much easier. I think this car seat is a powerhouse in my opinion it offers so many features that really provide baby with the best comfort and peace of mind to the parent so overall it’s a huge win. My baby looks comfortable when sitting in this and about 85% of the time she falls asleep when in it. The lights and the music provide her with entertainment and soothing, she really loves watching the lights that move and change colors. There are so many light settings and sound options that your baby is bound to find a favorite. I really like the chest clip sensor as well that gives me peace of mind knowing my baby is safe and the feature with the temperature is really nice since we live in Florida and it is super hot all the time. Being able to have all of the options available to control in the app and get alerts through the app is a great feature as well. This is my first rotating car seat and that feature is so awesome and has made getting my little one in and out so much easier and I can’t believe I have never tried one before. The setup for the base took seconds and feels very secure as well unlike some other infant car seats I’ve seen.

The ease of getting baby in and out is unmatched compared to some other infant seats. While trying to get an infant in the car at the same time as a toddler this helped take some of the stress away. The easy to use soothing features were wonderful when we had to calm everyone down for a car nap. The app was user friendly and simple enough to figure out. I am a big fan of the lack of harsh chemicals in the fabric as our nicu baby has very sensitive skin and I worry about even the simplest additives. I'm 5ft so picking up carseats or even trying to lean in and unbuckle babe is a struggle! The swivel feature has been such an amazing upgrade. I have 5 little so anything to make getting in and out a little easier is a win for me. The base was easy to install and seems very sturdy. When it comes to the lights and music I do have some minor complaints. The handle is a bit wobbly and the speaker placement is less than ideal. When I wrap my arm around the handle to carry baby in the seat it covers the speaker completely and is startling for me and her. Maybe its a learning curve but we havent quite figured it out. The lights and music are hit and miss with her though. She really just doesn't like carseats in general..we've tried FOUR. It does seem to calm her down sometimes so another little win there. The bottom buckle seems to dig into her little legs even after adjusting, too. Not bad but definitely not helpful when he comes to her not loving her carseat. Another thing I'm sure we'll figure out but havent yet! The negatives do not outweigh the positives here though. The ease and convenience of this carseats base are such a huge positive. The fabric is soft and cool, too. We live in the south and its hot hot hot here. I have noticed my daughter is never sweaty in this seat like she was in the others. Another huge positive. I'd recommend this seat on those two things alone if I hadn't found any other things to love about it yet! Love story short, get it. You wont regret it! The one handed rotation makes loading your infant a breeze, and yet it still has the capacity to detach like any other infant car seat, when desired. Now I'm not sure what I would do without this feature. My daughter also enjoys the sensory soothe technology, and I think she'll love it even more as she ages. Personally, I love that I can adjust sounds and sound levels on the app, so I don't have to reach back awkwardly or have it on as soon as I put her in the car. The car seat installs easily and intuitively, which is nice as well. Adjusting it to her size was simple and quick. I'm so thankful I received this as a gift from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, because my daughter looked and acted uncomfortable in her previous car seat and is so much more comfortable now. The pads this car seat has for infants are perfect for support and removable while they age for continued comfort. The fact that the fabric is free of added chemicals is a big bonus, as well. If I was to nit-pick to find a negative about the car seat, I would say that the wings on the buckle are a bit long. The only other feature that I miss slightly is the one handed bar adjustment option, but the technology that takes it's place makes it remain an ideal car seat.

The quality of it just feels unmatched compared to any other infant seat I have used for my other two kids. You can tell it's made of high quality materials and oh so comfortable! My baby LOVES this seat! The sensory soothe handle is amazing and i think what i can credit my baby absolutely loving this seat to. The music and lights on the handle are great. The swivel makes it a breeze to get it in and out of vehicles. We installed it in my husbands truck, and the swivel makes it so much easier to get in and out compared to your basic infant carrier. The base is also so easy to install. Straightforward instructions and only took us a few minutes to perfect it! My only complaint would be that it seems very upright for a baby, especially a newborn. My little guy is 4 months old and sits in it perfectly but it does seem to be too upright for a newborn. Overall, I would recommend this car seat to anyone looking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened the car seat I was surprised at the construction. It seems big but it’s actually light. There’s almost nothing to do for install all the pieces are padded so just remove that and choose your install method. From there it took me a moment to realize how to lower the bar but it’s the two buttons on either side. I have used it with and without the infant inserts. Either way is comfortable, especially the headrest, which made my infant easy to maintain position even in rear-facing mode. At install the base belt harness was easy to secure and there was a helpful level indicator for the adjusting wedge that goes underneath. The swivel is easy to activate, however, it won’t work if installed next to another car seat. Example: middle seat and rear passenger seat adjacent. The black finish is really nice. This is the first car seat I’ve used with smart functions, such as the reminder feature in the chest harness. Lights and sounds are great ways to distract or calm your baby while you drive. The clip for it could be sturdier, however. Lastly, the packaging was well done, received without issue from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The car seat is so lightweight I was able to push the button to release it from the base and pick it up with one hand. The turn feature is also so easy and makes getting your baby in and out so much easier. There is so much padding for little babies like my 3 month old that you can remove when they get bigger for more room. It seems very comfortable. The soothing technology is really easy with the eve Flo app and great for those times in the car where you wish you could climb back there to comfort them. I would highly recommend.

My favorite feature is the built-in vibration and white noise options. I always forget to pack the sound machine for car rides, so our little one usually takes over the car stereo with white noise on repeat. But with this seat, I no longer need to pack the sound machine.My husband and I finally have control of the music again! The SensorySoothe technology is built into the car seat handle and allows you to calm your baby with lights, music, and white noise. You can activate it by pressing a button on the handle, through the app, or even with voice activation. Adjusting the seat for a perfect fit was very straightforward. The harness and headrest adjustments are intuitive and easy to use, and I appreciated how clear the instruction manual was. It only took my husband a few minutes to install the base, with no guesswork or frustration! The fabric feels and gentle against my baby’s skin, and it gives me peace of mind knowing they’re free from added chemicals and flame retardants. One important note: because the seat sits almost upright, I wouldn't recommend it for a newborn, as it doesn’t provide enough neck support for babies without strong muscle control. However, once your baby has better neck strength, this car seat is a must-have! Overall, this car seat has exceeded my expectations. It's safe, smart, and stylish!
