A: It is NOT a dark brass. Just saw it in-person @ store & it is a bright orange-colored brass. I wish they made this rod in other finishes. It does look rich, though if you can work with the color.

Probably one of my favorite Target purchases ever! This looks so high end even though it's under $40. I just had a friend compliment me on it today and ask where I got it—she was shocked when I told her! Super easy install, curtains glide over it with no issue, and the brass is really attractive, not that awful yellow gold that makes things look cheap.
