Q: Can a baby sit in this or do they have to lay down ?

A: My 7 month old sits up in it sometimes to play with toys. Someone is always watching her, though, and she can’t crawl or pull up on anything yet. She tips over still, but can mostly sit a while and enjoy batting at toys.

Q: Is there a way to collapse the other part of the dome other than the retractable side?

Q: after assembling the dome it won't lay flat and rocks back and forth. how do I get it to flatten out or is it just defective? I'm past my return window as I bought this months ago for my new baby

A: Use only the pad provided by Fisher-Price. The pad is machine washable. Wash separately in cold water on the gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat and remove promptly

I loved how easy and portable this was. My baby is petite and we were able to use this until she was 9 months old. This was easy to clean and easy to keep to protect her from the sun and mosquitoes. The only con I did not like is the fact that both sides do not go down. Only one side goes down. But it served its purpose and worked perfectly for us!

We went to set this dome up while traveling and the button got stuck. Wouldn’t fully engage while set up and posed a collapse risk to baby. Disappointed. It was convenient and great until it wasn’t.

I really like the shape and functionality of this product. My one complaint is that the pad for the baby to lay on is not very thick . I too wish both sides were able to be put down. I love that it can be completely closed sheltering baby from bugs and prying critters.

MY BABY IS ALWAYS CONTENT when I put her in it. There's a lot to look at in here. I agree with the others- I wish it were several inches bigger. My daughter is ten weeks and I don't think she'll be able to use this for much longer. I love being able to take it outside, zip it up and have her safe from bugs!

Love this dome! It's easy to transport and our girl has gotten a ton of use out of it all summer. I love that it can be completely enclosed to protect babe from bugs and sun from all sides or we can leave one side open to keep a close eye on her. We have used it at the lake, on the boat, at the pool, in the yard. Extremely useful because we have a toddler as well so we need a safe space to put baby down when chasing after our 1.5 year old!

I hesitated purchasing because of the price and the fact that we will only use for a few months, but I think it is well worth the price. It's great to keep in the trunk for when we go to the pool, or visit family members. I am disappointed because there was a blob of grease on the sheet when it arrived which I didn't notice until after washing. As a result, there are grease stains on the sheet. I can't return it because I got rid of the box, so I just plan on covering the sheet with a blanket.

…Too small for our 3 month baby. I wish they made it bigger like the BabyMoov brand, because in my opinion this seems better built. Please make it bigger, something that can hold a baby until the baby reach 1 year at least.
