I wish I could give this zero stars. The smell is so strong and off putting. It’s a synthetic, floral perfume-y smell that you can’t get off your hands after using the product. Instant headache. I didn’t even bother returning, just threw it in the trash.

The texture is smooth, the scent is fresh smelling without being overpowering, and it gives a strong and lasting hold without leaving any sticky residue or flaking. My hair stays styled all day, even in humidity that comes with the south. I Love the sleek and edgy packaging too -it looks great on the shelf and is easy to squeeze. Adds a nice subtle shine without making hair look greasy.

this is absolutely my new favorite styling gel! I started using this product when my thick hair become unmanageable with my usual wax approach so I tried the styling gel and loved the performance. It was able to hold all day with no issues and looked just as good at the end of the day as when I first put it on!

There is no/minimal scent and it is THICK! I hate gel that is watery. A little goes a long way and it shapes my curls great for 2-3 days!

Didn't leave any shine, which isn't good or bad for me. I used it to hold a few hair style and it holds pretty well, no crunch in my hair which was good. Easy to wash it out after and you'll need to wash your hands as it leaves a residue. It's just a clear gel so it doesn't leave any residue or color in your hair. Very affordable as well. I'd definitely recommend it, more for men but use able for woman as well. I just wouldn't say it's the strongest hold you can get.

My husband uses it for every day styling, and I used it for my daughter’s dance recital and her hair stayed in place. The shine is just right and the scent isn’t strong.

I can barely get him to wash his hair, let alone style it, but with THIS he has been excited to wash and style so this is a BIG pre-teen Momma! It’s a thick sticky consistency yet when you apply in your hair it just melts in and leaves NO sticky texture or residue behind. I was shocked at how it changed. It feels clean and doesn’t look crunchy or greasy, yet it keeps the style. I don’t k ow how they do it but I’m loving this SO much.

After washing I apply a quarter -ish sized amount to wet her and comb it through. The holding power is very good, my son's curls are neat and contained even after a warm day at the local amusement park! This gel gives the holding power I love without adding any crunch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this in my girls hair that has 4C curls but we love a slick back pony which requires a really great gel! This helped slick her hair down and created an all day hold. And when I took it down in the evening, I made sure to separate the hair to make sure there was no residue or buildup and there was absolutely none and the HAIR is still had a little bit of flexibility to it. So while it was a very firm hold, it wasn’t a mess to take out either. Will absolutely be using this every day for the ponytails!!

It dries to a firm hold without being stiff and without flakes. I used it on towel dried curly hair and it kept my curls in shape. I didn’t love the scent as this is targeted towards men so little bit on the herbal side, but it’s not overpowering. I can see myself using the whole tube.
