Worst gel
This gel sucks. Bought It because It was the highest level of hold and this thing does not hold like other gels. If anything this is false advertisement. Hair is flimsy and will get messed up from little things like putting a shirt on over your head. Very weak and should be advertised and minimal hold. Never buying again. Waste of money.

I am very satisfied with the overall results. I do like that it gives you that natural hair look and the fragrance that it has it’s very pleasant. It last throughout the day , 8 hours of work. I am not giving it 5 starts as I wish it had more natural and organic ingredients , I will be looking forward for an improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] really expected this to be like some industrial adhesive level hold given the title. unfortunately it's not quite the sticky situation i hoped for. the gel smells nice and is easy to apply. it works in well and washes out easily. sadly this was not up to the task of holding back my killer cowlicks as well as my usual brand is. i've tried some extra hold stuff that would probably work for holding bricks together that wasn't labelled as max hold. if you need a bit of hold for simple styling perhaps this is for you. if you have twin cyclones of hair competing for scalp space, like my hair, not so much..

Long lasting gel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing you notice is the barber smell on the gel which smells quite nice. It rubs on your hair very smoothly and when you want to get the gel off your hands it comes off rather quickly. Best thing about it is how long it last throughout the day.

Fine for short holds, but doesn’t last all day

I do have a moderately active job, but if it’s a max hold gel, it should hold for more than 4 hours. Texture of the gel was fine and the scent was inoffensive

Good hold without crusty hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good affordable styling gel. While is says it is the "strongest hold" it isn't super stiff or crunchy. I think it is best for people who don't use a lot of gel. I personally just use a little bit and don't go for a big spiky look. It does have a bit of the AXE scent to it but that quickly dissipates and isn't noticeable. Overall, I'm satisfied with the "AXE Hair Styling Gel MAX Hold Gel for 12H Lasting Control, Our Strongest Hold Gel, 5 oz".

Sticky but solid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is a very good holding product. I worked some of it into my hair first and then I applied the final style and it held ok. The product is very very sticky and I had to wash my hands with soap and water to get the residue off. For the product, it did not have any scent but for the size and cost, it does the trick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was younger, i would always use Axe products. Bodywash, deodarant, hair products. This gair gel has decent hold, but wish the crunchy hard feeling would not be as prominent. Overall, a good hair gel!
