Q: who is providing the answers here? one answer says the headboard can be held between the frame and the wall like used for adjustable frame set up. another area says is not free standing as such for such

A: It is held between the wall and bed with most bedframes but can also be attached to a adjustable bed frame. It has predrilled marker holes but hardware is not included.

A: there are multiple predrilled holes to attach to a standard metal bed frame. the holes do not go through therefore you can chose the holes you require and drill through.

Q: Purchased the headboard but it doesn't come with hardware to attach to the bed frame. What hardware should I buy? Wish this was indicated on the listing for the product and recommended. A total bummer

A: Our headboard is intended to work with multiple styles of bed frames and depending on your frame will determine the hardware. With our Prepac bed it is not nessecary to attach the unit, it can be pushed in between wall and bed.

Q: You stated a bed frame could be attached, screws not included. But I don't see preholes or an indication where the bed frame would be attached. Wil I need to drill my own holes?

A: We have predrilled marker holes which are on the back. The marker holes are not drilled all the way through, maybe 1/8" left to go through and you will need to get your own hardware to attach your frame to the headboard.

Q: What is the size of the box it ships in? Wondering if we can fit it up our stairs at my parents' cottage. Like is it 2 pieces / headboard and legs, or is there more assembly?

Q: Does the black headboard have a brownish tinted to it? In one of the photos it gives off a brown glare.

I love the simplistic design. Easy to assemble. Non-upholstered headboards are hard to find. I do wish it was actual wood. The headboard is really short. My bedframe is 18 inches tall, so I had to modify the height.

It looks pretty good. Thinner than our previous one, which was solid wood. Full assembly is required. There are 9 pieces and a bag of several different kinds of hardware. The printed instructions were pretty clear, but you will need some time and patience. The center recessed panel (which is a cardboard-type material) takes 20 screws. The rest of the pieces are pressboard. One part was missing one of the pre-drilled holes for hardware, but we were able to assemble it just fine without that being a problem. Pretty good item for a relatively low price.

Beware. Received defected item without necessary holes and having sooo much trouble returning such as trying to fit all the pieces back in the box but failing. Frustrating. Just want to throw it out. Don't cause yourself a trouble. 👎👎👎

Terrible chemical smell and missing piece. The headboard has been gassing off for a week. Horrible chemical smell. Look up VCOs and cheap furniture, didn't know about it until this purchase.. The headboard itself is objectively fine for the price but you bring in toxic chemicals by having this in your house. Then they also ended up shipping the headboard without the center piece to it.

It is exactly what we expected for the price and previous reviews. Looks nice in our master bedroom. King size bed. My husband had to drill holes to attach to bed frame. Pre drilled holes did not line up. Had to buy hardware to attach.

Disliked how there were no assembly instructions included, just a bag of unlabeled screws. Disliked that he middle board was different material too and bottom board. The middle was a flimsy paper like board while the top and bottom were sturdy wood boards.

It did not come with instructions for how to mount the headboard to the company’s (Prepac’s) own bed frame. Neither the bed frame nor this headboard came with any instructions, no hardware. For the price, at least supply the hardware or at least instructions on how to attach it to one of the Prepac bed frames. Now it’s a guessing game to figure out how.

This headboard was easy for me and my husband to put together. One of the pieces did come with a chip, but it is out of sight so no big deal. It does not come with the hardware to attach it to a bed frame. We bought a set of nuts, bolts and washers from a home improvement warehouse. The pre-drilled holes did not line up with our frame so we had to measure and drill our own. The middle horizontal piece is very thin and flimsy. It’s more like cardboard where as the other pieces are wood. All in all, considering the price, this is a great option.

I purchased the queen sized white headboard and it looks so great! This headboard is perfect if you’re looking for something to bring the room together looks wise. It was fairly easy to assemble but is easiest when you have two people. It is thin and not super sturdy (can’t really lean against it and it does wobble when you move around) that should be expected - this is a budget friendly way to make your bed look nice. My only other complaint is that it doesn’t come with the parts to attach the headboard to your bed frame. I also had to drill some holes in the headboard to attach it to my bed frame. Overall I think this is a great product and budget friendly, but it might require a little bit of elbow grease (but it’s worth it).
