Q: Good Morning, I was wondering if there was a way to change the station on the actual transmitter. It's set to 87.5 however my radio will only go to 87.7?

My car doesn’t have 87.5. I have a Toyota, Chevy and Cadillac. We only have 87.7 and up

Hi Mac Hilda, If your car radio starts at 87.7 FM and up, try tuning the transmitter to the closest available frequency with minimal interference. Use the next or back arrow buttons to adjust the frequency until you find the best signal!

No matter what station I turn it to, the static won't go away. This is worse than the cheaper Bluetooth transmitter I got like 6 years ago. Not impressed. The only plus it has going for it is that it doesn't need a remote to set the frequency.

How to Change Radio Number and Remove Static

I’ve seen many people struggle with how to operate the Bluetooth transmitter. It took me like 10 minutes to figure it out since there were no clear instructions on how to change the radio number. So in order to change the radio, you hold the call button until the radio number starts flashing and then use the skip feature to raise the radio number. For the static, I kept changing the radio number until I no longer heard any static. Hope this helps.

I had a hard time to find that frequency 87.5 But then I figure it out that if you press the phone icon until it blinks then press the arrow icon then you can change the frequency to a different channel and it worked perfectly for me. Hope it helps. Sincerely Victor.

If you are also here trying to figure out how it works here ya go! If your radio doesn’t go to 87.5 hold the green call button until the display starts blinking. Now you can adjust to a higher frequency using the forward and back buttons. As a different reviewer said - 87.7 seems to come out a bit wonky so I would go up to 87.9 at least and it comes out sounding great.

It won't connect and there are no instructions. 1 person who left a review said that he was able to get the transmitter number to 87.7, which would work, but they did not say how they did that and my car doesn't go to 87.5. Plus there's no instruction manual

Almost got a more expensive option due to reviews on here saying it wasn't working for playing music off the phone but that's just not true. I did have to mess with it a bit. My car radio doesn't go down to 87.5 so switched the transmitter to 87.7 and the sound was horrible. switched to 87.9 and it came through perfectly. I remember with my last one I just had to find the right fm setting

I’ve been waiting for this product. We have an older car that has limited technology when it comes to Bluetooth and connectivity. Getting this set up was a little difficult at the start but once we figured it out. Easy! I received this for free for my unbiased opinion.

$15 in the trash. it doesn't do the one thing i bought it for which is bluetooth. it's just static and i spent an hour and a half tuning my radio and listening to static. HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

I bought this little device because I have to rent cars often for travel and just don’t like to connect my phone to shared cars just for security purposes and sometimes the rental cars don’t have the Bluetooth connection option anyway. So now I bring my own device which is the little gadget. Light and small and I had no problem connecting it to my phone for calls. So I got it for the calling function as I use that frequently. Haven’t been able to figure out the FM function yet but not many cars are without that anyway so I don’t need this for that purpose. Do like that I can use it as a charger and that it also shows my the cars’ voltage. Definitely don’t want to ever get stranded with a dead battery so far away from home. Just wish the buttons were a little bigger but otherwise a nice little gadget at a steal of a price.

The Bluetooth FM transmitter and two port charging station is ideal for my automobile and needs. The device comes in an all black finish and easy to insert into the cigarette lighter port. Take note in reading over the transmitter installation instructions for easy troubleshooting and functionality. The transmitter will display the voltage of the car battery, followed by a bluetooth pairing to my device, answer/end calls and control at my fingertips. It's very convenient overall.

Its ok. I have been using it as a charger but cannot figure out how to get the fm feature to work. Im still learning the product. For simple charging it does ok just wish i could get it tuned in for the other. For a cheap option to do simple things its fine.
