The product is great.

We buy a lot of up&up items, but in this case, you are better off buying Scotch. The dispenser is difficult to work, and if the tape gets stuck to the roll, it’s impossible to fix.

Listen, I love Target brands and will always buy them but this isn’t it. The tape is bad and the dispenser is somehow even worse!

The tape is fine - not great. A little flimsy. But the dispenser is awful! It is so hard to pull the tape out, it continues to get stuck to the dispenser and I end up ruining so much tape by touching it or it getting stuck to itself... not worth the savings from buying store brand. Pay the extra $$ to get name brand and don't give yourself a headache!

it literally falls off of packages, much less sticky enough to keep a box closed through the mail. this tape won't even stick to itself 😭

Worse tape and dispenser. Tape doesn't stick well to cardboard. I had to use multiple strips for good coverage and the dispenser is awful. Better using scissors and removing the roll.

Dislike. The tape kept getting stuck and very hard to pull.

Very cheap quality. The tape is super thin and flimsy and difficult to use. There is a target brand tape labeled “packing tape” and that one is WAY better.

Have to pick at tape until it splits into separate pieces. After a lot of work, I might be able to tear off a usable piece of tape.

It does the job. It doesn't roll easily so makes it stick onto itself. Very hard to peel off.

Terrible tape, even worse dispenser! The tape roll would not spin or turn at all inside the dispenser it wouldn’t move at all. I had to physically push the tape out with one hand while holding the tape on the box I was trying to tape with my other hand. Then the tape kept getting twisted underneath the two small plastic pieces used to hold the end of the tape so it doesn’t stick back onto the reel. Then the tape started ripping apart right down the middle so I ended up with a half width tape. What a mess!

Tape would not stay stuck to cardboard boxes. Useless. Unexpected, as Up & Up products are usually reliable.

This tape is so thin that if you lose the end on the roll, you will NEVER be able to start it again. Absolutely flabergasted how this passed the test to be sold. Saturday Night Live could have fun with this. 3/29/2025

Absolutely terrible dispenser. Constantly getting stuck. Finally threw away the dispenser and started manually cutting it.

This roll of tape costs $3.29 as a STORE BRAND item. The NAME BRAND gives you .2 ft MORE of tape and costs the same?

If I didn’t know better, I would say this tape dispenser hates me and is difficult to use on purpose.

This tape is very hard to dispense. I will stick with the name brand next time for packing tape.

This dispenser is trash. So hard to use. Flawed design always gets stuck and no handle.
