Perfectly long and wide for me (5'9). Haven't yet used it in class but I am excited to see how it grips and how the extra cushioning affects me. Looks great!

Arrived damaged from plasticy label wrapped around mat. Don't like what it is made of. or how it feels. Not like my previous Gaiam yoga mats. Slippery. Hard feeling. Don't like it at all. *review sourced from Gaiam

It arrived very sippery and not usable until it was washed. I was on vacation and unable to wash it where I was staying. I wish I had known this when I placed the order. Very disappointing. *review sourced from Gaiam

A good thickness for my knees without being too thick and long enough for my 5'10"" body. *review sourced from Gaiam

I read the reviews about it not being not slip and despite that I decided to give this a try. It is very slippery on both sides and very dangerous for doing yoga. I felt myself slipping the whole time. If I continue to use this I am sure that I will hurt myself. Very disappointed in the quality. *review sourced from Gaiam
Cheap feel, too stretchy

Very disappointed and regret that I bought this mat. The material is very stretchy and flimsy. It stretches under my feet when I do poses like downward dog or warrior one and the bubbles weren't going back afterwards, much like a stretched out t-shirt. I wrote to customer service about it and got condescending replies that the mat just needed to be laid flat when new so the creases would go away, so they completely ignored the issue I was addressing. After lots of back and forth, they finally told me that I could return the mat and provided a link for the return for. That's when I saw that I would have to pay for return shipping. Given the shape and weight of the box, shipping would cost almost as much as I paid for this mat. Going to donate it to someone instead. Lesson learned - won't be buying direct from Gaiam again. I got a great replacement from another well-known company and couldn't be happier. You get what you pay for. The Gaiam mat was just a total waste of money. *review sourced from Gaiam

I had a hard time finding a yoga mat to fit my 6'4"" husband, not to mention my 6""1' frame. This XL mat is perfect. I don't feel like I'm hanging off it and it's easy to perform movements on it. *review sourced from Gaiam

I purchased this mat for my husband because the standard size was just a bit short for him. He uses a mat for yoga. He's very happy with the product. It's the right amount of length and cushion. *review sourced from Gaiam

This is such a huge improvement for me! I've been using a standard size mat for a long time and I had to constantly adjust my positioning so I stayed on the mat. Highly recommend! For reference, I'm 5'8"" - 5'9"" female. *review sourced from Gaiam

Perfect for tall people! We are both 6'5"" and it just gives us that extra length/width compared to a regular mat along with a bit of extra cushion without needing to step off for balancing poses. Still easy to carry around *review sourced from Gaiam
