Great replacement for a Casio G Shock
I have been using this for about a month now and am very pleased with the data it records and moves to my Garmin account. It took some time to learn some of the functions and how to set them up, but once set up it is easy to access what I want to track. Cost wise it is a bit pricey both worth the cost. I have been a Casio G Shock user for many years and this is a good replacement for both time keeping and the functions available. I like the solar charging and using GPS for time accuracy.

A new whole world
I bought this nearly a month ago and it has exceeded my expectations. I love wearing it during my runs since it tells me my pace after completing a mile. It has so many features from workouts to GPS coordinates and can't forget the flashlight. I'm still discovering new things about it.

Super simple yet packed with features
I wanted a simple watch to keep track of time but also to monitor my performance during workouts without having a mini computer on my wrist and this watch is perfect! The battery life is amazing and with outdoor activities the battery life seems to last forever easily getting over 2 weeks worth without having to hook up to a charger. The body battery feature also helps me keep track of how much I can push my body. It’s especially useful on more stressful days.

Power-packed for a great price
Bought this to replace a fitbit. Swapped out the original band for a miimall orange. Rich in features and customizable. I wanted some screen color but chose to go with the solar instead of amoled. Can charge with included cable (but no plug, luckily I had one) or via sunlight. Based on my settings, mine will hold a charge for over 2 weeks. I love that everything is included. I don't need to pay for all the data. As for the data, I don't get too far into the weeds and details. I use it to monitor a lot of the basic overall. I only say that because it's hard to say how accurate, whether that's HR monitoring or pool swimming distance. That said, a great watch for the price. Would highly recommend when looking for an overall fitness/activity tracker. Surpasses my high expectations. I've used mine for steps, weights, running, swimming, and cycling. It even separates outdoor running vs. treadmill, and can accurately monitor your steps based on distance for accuracy. Would buy it again, no question.

It’s ok.
A little heavy on the wrist after a full days work so I can’t wear it to bed. It’s like steel toe boots. Nice to have but ready to take it off as soon as I’m ready to relax so unfortunately I’m never able to get my bed time sleep accurately logged

Looks great - awesome features
Bought this watch before a hiking trip, and really enjoyed all of the features while in the back-country. I've also been using it to track my runs. It takes a minute to get comfortable with the menu functions and buttons, but once you do, it's super fast and easy to navigate. With the companion app it really provides a ton of information on health, sleep, steps, etc. Very happy I switched from a fitbit. This is a much better solution. I'm very happy with it.

Wish I would have gotten one a long time ago.
I bought this about a month ago. Only issue I have sometimes when I'm in the gym I have to take it off wipe the sweat off in order for the sensors to work correctly. Other than that I love everything this watch can do perfect for me. Thank you Garmin!!!

My experience with Instinct 3
I love my Instinct 3 watch and all of the features that I have been able to familiarize myself with. It is great and I really love the solar capability. I would have loved if a manual would have come with it as the online version is not the best for me. I would do much better where I can go look at what I need and have this manual as it would be better for me.

Instinct 3 - 45mm Solar
I bought this about one month ago to replace my Vivoactive 3 that was dying. I like this a lot better than my previous watch. It is more intuative to use and easy to taylor it to your liking. The light is very handy. Solar charging is so-so. I switched to a nylon band since I am not a big fan of the rubber one that the watch came with. The only thing I don't really like is the proprietary charging port (didn't like it on the Vivoactive either).

Fantastic Watch
I’m a believer. This watch is everything you want and more. There is really no need for an IOS or Android in my eyes anymore. I’m a Garmin fan for life.

Good GPS Watch
I bought this watch a couple of weeks ago to replace my dead Forerunner 945. The watch connects to GPS much faster, has longer battery life, and is good for hiking. What I dislike is that it's bulky and difficult to configure for different activities, including various types of running (but not road running), pool swimming, and open-water swimming. The start/stop button isn't as sensitive as the 945, which made it hard to start or stop during swimming. In general, it’s a good watch, especially considering the price. Some Garmin GPS watches are too expensive and only last five years. iPhone is less costly because it last much longer.
