Perfect balance!
I’ve got to say this is an amazing watch. Battery life is ever going with all the sufficient bells and whistles of a smart watch. I haven’t charged it in over two weeks and I still have more than 15% battery life including all my notifications and use of the flashlight.

They are getting better
so far so good, it does have some better features that the 2 does not like the display is better, I can see it better, I still do not like the bands you need to make some drastic changes to them, they are either too long or to small and it pulls the hair and your skin.

(no review title)
I got it about a month ago and the solar charges about 1 percent an hour and it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting to my phone every 3 hours but overall great watch would recommend

Unbelievably amazing watch!
This watch has turned out to be even more awesome that what I thought it would be. The tactical looks very sleek and with the all black I've been wearing it with all of my outfits so far. I feel most people would be able to use it easily as the buttons are very straightforward compared to a traditional smartwatch that can be very gesture heavy. There are so many features that it may take a while to know how each works and when to use them but thats the same for any technology nowadays. The health metrics are a great tool as well and so far seem to be quite accurate. I will keep this watch for as long as I can and im sure I'll be with the Garmin family for a while.

Only Regret Is Not Getting One Sooner
I’m not a watch or jewelry wearer, so I sat on the fence for years, deciding if I should try one or not. Finally decided to give it a try and I absolutely love this watch. The rubber watch band it comes with is my only complaint. It sticks to your skin and doesn’t breathe, so I ordered a woven band and now this watch is perfection. Love the solar charging, the minimalist style, and the huge amount of functionality. I thought the flashlight was just a gimmick but I actually use it quite often. The insights it provides into your daily routine (my sleep schedule is atrocious) is really interesting and motivates me to push just a little harder for health. The battery last forever, too. This just might be the perfect smartwatch.

Reliable Product
Great product! It took me a little time to get used to using this watch vs my apple watch. But clearly this is more detailed and has alot more insight than my apple watch! I love this watch and look forward to using it alot more often in the future.

Instinct Tactical Solar 3
I am replacing an Instinct Tactical Solar with the new updated version; the Instinct Tactical Solar 3. So far I’m impressed and happy with the upgrade. The Owners’ Manual instructions are difficult to follow at times.

Love the watch
I love this thing so far! The watch feels solid, is comfortable to wear and makes workout tracking easy. The band is holding up so far after about a 20 days of continuous use, however it is the only part of the watch that concerns me.

Great watch!
Really like a lot of the features. Flashlight is one of my favorites. It covers more than I need, but does everything I want in a watch <3

Great watch
I have charged the watch once in the few weeks I have it. Battery life is incredible. I have not figured out all the features yet. But most are very simple to use.

Not Your Normal Watch!
This is the second Instinct that I have purchased. Absolutely amazing all-around watch. Whether you need a light or just to tell the time, the Instinct has it. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants something for a little less than a Fenix or a Tactix.

As advertised.
I've had the watch for about a month. Functions as described and more. I've been thinking about buying one for a long time and am happy with my purchase.

Same as garmin instict 2
Alot of the exact features as the instict 2. Battery life doesn't last as long. But seems to be pretty accurate with stats.

I think a useful watch for outdoors people
I bought this specifically for the ability to pair with my Garmin InReach mini communicator. I am often in remote areas doing landscape photography ( especially in NC forests), and you never know when some unfortunate thing can happen. The InReach is always on my backpack - so being able to activate it from my wrist is a good thing. Yes I know the apple watched and others can do these things - but Garmin paired works globally. So far I and the watch are getting used to each other and I am sure many of the myriad of functions will be useful. The watch is solidly built - built to be outdoors and not an ornament! The solar should be okay - I live in FL (I know, flat uninspiring). So far - very happy - we shall see over the coming months how well the watch performs.

TL;DR Buy it!
This is my fourth Garmin watch. I have an Instinct Tactical, Tactix Delta, and Tactix 7. the Instinct 3 is by far my favorite. Battery life and readability are OUTSTANDING. The Tactix series is totally cool, and I recommend them, but I've found the Instinct 3 Tactical to be way more functional. Not having a touchscreen means you don't have to worry about unwanted mode/display changes in the water, and battery life of the solar variant is unbeatable.

My new favorite watch
I needed a watch for outdoors, one that could withstand several points of shock and this has worked out to be perfect and has solar charging to boot. I also find keeping it on all night to record my sleep. Its so light you dont know its on.
