Q: To save on counter space, is it possible to store and pull out for ice making and the store again? Will the starting of the ice machine after being unplugged be a problem for the machine?
It could have been outstanding but the platform sticking out the front made it unsafe to sit on my counter. The app was finicky but I finally got it to work. Sadly though I returned it for the safety reasons listed. I really wish they would make a smaller version”Super-mini” version for just one person.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this ice maker because it uses a filter, so you can be sure it’s staying clean and won’t have mold issues; I had another one from a different brand that got full of mold and was impossible to clean, but this brand and machine are amazing! It gives you peace of mind knowing you’re consuming something clean and safe, though the only downside is that you’ll have to spend money periodically on filters and the cleaning powder.

Extremely Disappointed Regular Customer
I ordered this online because it was not available in store. When I opened up, the reservoir and the machine had water droplets in and around it. I called Target helpline. The lady that I spoke to was very nice and apologetic. She refunded my protection plan immediately. In addition, she gave me a gift card for my inconvenience. So I thought this was just a fluke and order the same one again from Target online. Just received it. Water in the reservoir again!!! I can't believe people who do use it and then return it. I called the Target helpline again. However, the tone was different. I told her that this was the second time in a week that I ordered this product and it had been obviously used. She didn't seemed to bothered rather indifferent to this situation. I expressed my frustration and disappointment since I'm a frequent Target customer. She refused to refund my protection plan until I returned the product, unlike the other representative that I talked not even a week ago. I did mention that last time I did get a gift card. So then she reluctantly did so. Target, you need to do better.

The Opal Mini has been a great addition to our kitchen. It makes good-quality nugget ice quickly and is simple to use. I also like that the smaller size doesn’t take up too much counter space. Overall, it does exactly what I wanted and I’ve been happy with it.

Crunchy Nugget Ice on Demand

I love that it takes up limited counterspace, because we want to enjoy nugget ice, but we have very little room on our counters. There's no hose to connect, tou refill the top reservoir when the machine is dictates low water. The rest is automatic and fast! The ice is truly nugget shaped and crunchy! The ice everyone dreams of. We go through so much ice a day because everyone loves it. Even my husband who was reluctant. The only disadvantage is how much this machine leaks. The machine comes with a plate to but at the bottom to collect the water, but it's gross see water collect there, so you need to soak it up every time you pull the drawer out. Besides that I think the machine is easy and luxurious. I get crunchy Nugget Ice all day long and the machine does the rest. It even has a self-clean button when it's time to clean it. If you are considering a nugget ice machine, this is a really great quality machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK, so I’m not going to add clutter to my countertops. I’m a very minimalist when it comes to that kind of stuff but I also love nugget ice. Like seriously I will go to Chick-fil-A just to get a drink with nugget ice. I will be the first to say this is actually worth it to put on your counter the minute we got it and unboxed it. It has been on nonstop since. The nugget ice is perfectly crunchy. The ice doesn’t freeze together. It is super fast. The tray fills up in around 10 minutes. It’s super user-friendly. I absolutely love this thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice maker is amazing, it works fast and the ice is perfect, it’s chewable and great for any drinks, it doesn’t make very much noise and all the machine is made with high quality material, it’s a little big so you need to make sure to have plenty of space for it, easy to put the water and easy to clean, the assembly it’s fast, all that you have to do is just to remove from the box, putt water and then start making the ice, I just didn’t liked the app, I was no able to use it very well, I think it was complicated to download and use it, but the machine is amazing, I highly recommend it.

Setup was easy and straightforward and I really like the compact design since it doesn’t take up a ton of counter space but still looks sleek. It feels well made and the automatic cleaning cycle makes maintenance much easier than I expected. Overall it’s been reliable, works exactly as I hoped and has been making ice consistently without any issues. I love that it’s also WiFi compatible so I can schedule when to make ice from my phone.
