A: Hi Rania- Good question - we’re glad you asked. The gelatin in our marshmallow marbits pieces is made from pork collagen. Collagen as an additive is tasteless and clear, and is used in many types of food. Big G cereals that contain marbits include Lucky Charms, Chocolate Lucky Charms, Count Chocula, Boo Berry and Frankenberry.

I’m a big fan of the original so I don’t think I would choose these too often but they’re interesting and have that lucky charms taste with a bit of a cake batter flavor (plus the sprinkles are cute). Can’t say the nutritional value is amazing because it’s a lot of sugar/processed ingredients- but once in a while it’s a fun treat.

It’s not revolutionary, but it is whimsical and delivers on its promise: sweet, colorful nostalgia with a little extra sparkle. The rainbow sprinkles are hardly noticeable. The real stars—as always—are the marshmallows: vibrant, sugary. The box is eye-catching, with the familiar Lucky leprechaun beaming beside a swirl of pastel sprinkles and marshmallows. The value is amazing, you get so much and the price is on point, do you can buy more than I e box at a time, buy 10 at a time if you like this cereal like I do and my household does as well!!!! I love the texture of this cereal and it keeps a nice crunch till the very last bite!!! I absolutely love this cereal!!!!

I prefer the regular Lucky Charms in flavor and feel, these were very airy and puffy like bubbles in your mouth with a few crunchy marshmallows. I would not buy these, however my kids were happy with them being different.

I looove sweetened cereal, and Lucky Charms is one of my favs. The Rainbow Sprinkles features a cake batter flavor and sprinkles. It also has 15 grams of whole grains and 12 vitamins and minerals. I really liked the cereal, and you can pick up a bit of the cake batter flavor, but I did not live it. After a few minutes into it I found it almost too sweet for me. My son also tried and felt the same. Overall, if we rated regular Lucky Charms (which we both love) as a 5, this would come in at a 3.5, mostly because it just seemed too sweet for our palette.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cereal is supposed to be a rainbow sprinkle flavor, but it really just tastes the same as regular Lucky Charms. The marshmallows are bigger than I remember though. My main concern with this cereal is the high number of food dyes added; I counted eight different colors listed under ingredients. The blue is so concentrated that it turned the milk a light blue color within a couple of minutes and turned another yellow marshmallow green. It's not something I really want my kids eating every day.

The cereal has the same beloved marshmallows, but the frosted oat pieces are coated with colorful sprinkles that give it a sweet, slightly crunchier texture. It's like a birthday party in a bowl! The flavor is sweeter than the classic, which may not be for everyone (especially if you're not a big sugar-for-breakfast) we loved it as a treat!
