A: Hi Rania- Good question - we’re glad you asked. The gelatin in our marshmallow marbits pieces is made from pork collagen. Collagen as an additive is tasteless and clear, and is used in many types of food. Big G cereals that contain marbits include Lucky Charms, Chocolate Lucky Charms, Count Chocula, Boo Berry and Frankenberry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lucky charms are so delicious. My girls love how there is rainbow sprinkles. The box is so cute and detailed. You get a good amount in the box so it’s definitely worth it. The amount of sugar it has isn’t too bad.

Birthday cake flavored is not a great change. Also only noticed the puffs were yellow and then saw the “fine print.” Gets old fast.

Giant marshmallows throws off the ratio. Plus there’s just fewer marshmallow pieces. I’ll bet once the giant pieces leave they won’t add the same amount of marshmallow pieces the old boxes had and claim it’s “cost saving”

Lucky Charms used be “frosted toasted oats cereal “ and not it’s labeled as “frosted toasted cereal” because corn was added. It doesn’t taste as good and it smells weird too. Adding corn was a bad idea. Might be cheaper to make but this once favorite is now ruined.
