[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the product doesn't contain artificial colors. Also, consider the day and night ingredients. One has a suppressant, and the other an expectorant with a small dose of suppressant. My daughter loves the taste and didn't need water afterward. Other brands make it very difficult for me to get her to take it, but with this one, I have the peace of mind knowing I'm giving her something with cleaner ingredients. I've heard this brand is much better for toddlers. It doesn't contain preservatives like standard, mainstream brands of cold medicine. Based on that, we tried it when our baby first got sick. It actually worked great! It gave her enough relief to sleep. And we've used it every time she's been sick for the past year and a half. It's our go-to! The smell is pleasant, and our son doesn't seem to mind the taste. However, the medicine is very sticky. And you have to shake the bottle well to mix everything before giving it to your child. But I feel really good about this choice. My two little ones accept this product very well, which is a very important and positive thing. From the first time I used it at home, it exceeded my expectations with rapid relief. I recommend using it; it's a very safe brand.

Not for 4/5 year olds!
Nighttime formula is only for 6+, while daytime is for 4+… weird choice to package them together. I have a 5 year old and can’t use the nighttime one. Waste of money and product.

Better flavor PLEASE!!
The medicine does exactly what it’s supposed to do, but it tastes horrible according to my 5 year old. We have to work out a deal of a couple sips of flavored water in between sips to get her to take it.

I really love this stuff for my kids. I can’t talk about the taste because I’ve always been someone who absolutely hates liquid medicine no matter what it tastes like, but my kids take this medicine no problem. And it’s been really effective for them and seems to work quickly as well. We were actually using another cleaner medicine brand and weren’t having a whole lot of luck, so I went searching for something else and found this stuff. We have a couple of their others for different symptoms, and they’ve all worked pretty well. So definitely will keep using as long as it works.

Horrible Taste
My 5 year old absolutely hates the flavor. He literally runs away. We have never had a problem getting him to take other dye free medicines. Love the concept of this medicine having much cleaner ingredients, but unfortunately it’s very ineffective in our home because it’s a fight to get him to take it…

Didn't work for us
We got these because it's dye free. But they don't work. At all. My kid gets no relief. My kid has always been awesome at taking meds. Usually no complaints but my kid does not like the taste of this stuff at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I go out of my way to find this product. my kids love that taste, which as a mother, makes a huge difference in whether or not i have to argue with my children to take their medicine. because if they dont like the taste, they act like feral children as I try to sneak behind them and do a surprise squirt of medicine in their mouth with a syringe. its certainly no ones favorite way to give/get medicine! thank you Genexa!

Tastes gross but affective
I love that this is dye free however my daughter thinks it tastes absolutely disgusting. We only tried water as a chaser (it didn’t occur to me to try juice) but now my daughter associates it with the flavor and no chaser would work. This does work and I’m happy it’s an alternative to other guaifenesin products!

Had high hopes
Was really hoping the kids would take this but one child spit it out instantly and the other protested after one sip. I tried a taste and didn't like it either. It did have a little blueberry flavor but it's definitely still slightly bitter. Can't contest as to whether it works.
