This doesn’t work. This “comb” is actually like a piece of sand paper. It doesn’t pick up pills but damages the fabric and makes it fuzzy.

It's more like sandpaper than a shaver. The gentlest of the 3 heads still ruined the surface of my sweater. I regret using it.

I did not have very high hopes for this item because of the low price point, I had just hoped it would work 'well enough.' Well I was pleasantly surprised with this little guy! Please note, I only used this for one type of fabric, a fleece blanket. I purchased a bunch of fleece blankets from another store and had a weird issue with three of them. They somehow collected chunks of brown lint, likely a mixture of colors from all three, I just do not know how it happened. I tried washing and drying with different detergents, together, separate and dryer balls. It was recommended to me to try some kind of lint shaver next. I did not want to spend $20+ on something that may or may not work, so I gave this a try. I could not believe how well it worked! Granted it did take a while because it is a full size blanket, it was completely worth it. The little lint pieces were ruining my daughter's socks and i didn’t want to throw out three new blankets just because of that. I got this and one other shaver and they were both inexpensive and worked fantastic!

Takes a while to get the pilling off

This works magnificently on tough, durable material like canvas, denim, linen or cotton. It saved my canvas bag and made it look almost new. HOWEVER, I would NOT use this on delicate sweaters, what it’s advertised for, I’d use a traditionally fabric shaver. It will only damage the fabric.

This was dumb, it pulls on delicate or woven fabrics (like every sweater ever made). Maybe if you have a heavy duty fabric this would work, but otherwise it causes more damage than it helps. Get yourself a battery operated lint shaver and save yourself the headache of returning this when it doesn’t work.

Didn’t do anything for my sweater, I wanted to like it, it did nothing. I’m going to try a battery operated one.

This definitely made my sweater worse.

I was browsing target and found this. Our couch has a good amount of pilling and this works well to remove the pilling. I wouldn’t use this on anything softer because I feel like it would snag really bad. But great for what I needed it to do.

I have a sweather that's in terrible condition. After combing it through, looks so much worse. I need to return this asap.

If you wouldn't consider scraping down your sweaters with a piece of sandpaper, then don't buy this product because that's essentially what this is. I used it on a cheap coat, but it's way too harsh to use on any sweaters. I don't even think it would work. I'm tossing it out.

This was horrible! I really wanted to like it but I just couldn’t do it. It did not work at all. Save your money and just buy the battery powered one. It just kept snagging on the material and did not remove any fuzz at all.

Tired of my electric sweater shavers burning out after a few months, I gave this a go and it works wonders! Great for sweaters and fleece coats, especially when covering large surface areas. Will be picking more up to have on hand.

I love this so much, it saved my skirt! My only complaint is that it’s easy for the little abrasive piece at the end to slip off when you remove the built up lint from it but I still think it’s worth the money.

Edge fell out on first use, repeatedly. Will glue it in, as it did a good job. Would love to have a storage guard or case, like the old shavers had.

This thing is terrible. Not typically one to write reviews but I actively sought out this item so warn purchasers against this item. Spend a few extra bucks and get something that will actually get the job done. This “sweater saver” is completely useless.

The scrapping part fell off after one use.

Have tried EVERYTHING to get dog hair left after vacuuming off of furniture and car upholstery- THIS tool does it!!
