For the price I paid it’s a really good sprayer. I have multiple graco products like the Sure shot ( the best purchase ever) and the true coat 360. My honest opinion is like I said for the money it’s great for small to medium sized jobs.

I purchase this X5 sprayer 2 weeks ago and used it twice and it perform perfectly. I am very pleased with the ease of operation and results of the final job. Cleaning of the machine was easy to complete and straight forward with instructions. I would recommend this product.

I am a general contractor and I don't paint that much, i bought this sprayer to expedite the refreshing of my mother in -laws house, it took some getting used to but it performed perfectly. Figuring out the pressure for the paint and the spray patterns takes some trial and error. After the intro is completed the sprayer did all i expected. The cleaning of the unit is simple and fast..

My first use was outside with a small ladder to cover being able to paint the structure. The system works very well with no problems, clean up was actually harder than doing the painting, but I understand how important it is to make sure your system is clean for the next use. The second project (one week later) was also outside and the same results, very good coverage during painting operations. My only suggestion would be a swivel connection at the base of the spray gun.....I found I was fighting the hose / gun location bothersome during moving and painting.

I bought this over a month ago and it has performed flawlessly. I don't like to paint, matter of fact, I hate painting. So I purchased this Graco hoping to make the task suck less. So far I have completed 3 different outdoor projects. The biggest was the back deck which spans the entire back of the house. It was quick and easy. The deck looks great. The machine was easy to setup and get started. It was also simple to take down and clean.

As a beginner to this type of sprayer. I found it easy to use and clean up was easy. As I specifically purchased it to paint trim and doors for now. Just make sure u get the proper tips for ur project as it will help ur final results.

Takes a bit of practice to get used to it, but works as advertised. I have the X5, but I wish there was a stand available for it, like the X7, so I don’t have to set on a tote to allow the suction hose to stay in a 5 gallon paint container.

Purchased for painting inside home and outside shipping container. Used exterior of shipping container as practice. Very little over spray, painted crown molding, chair rail, window and floor trim using 211 tip, main walls with included 515 tip. Floor drop cloth and 24" handled trim guard, no taping. Set up was easy cleanup was easy compared to cleaning brushes. There is some waste of paint depending on how much you trust yourself empty line back into the bucket before water gets to the end.

I purchased this sprayer after a thorough google and ai project to determine which paint sprayer had the best ease of use. THIS CANNOT BE IT. Awful to set up and use. The steps to make the thing start are ridiculous. I have to use the videos every time and the steps seem nonsensical and if you do one thing wrong it doesn't work. I figured that, as with any new tool, I'd get accustomed to it once I used it a lot. Not so. Steps are impossible to learn by rote. I was painting a couple of sheds and decided it was faster to do it by hand than use the sprayer! Also it had a less even coverage than my cheapo Wagner which died in one season. I am tempted to return the very expensive Graco Magnum X5 to go back to my cheapo model and just replace it when I need to. At least that one was 100% straightforward to use.

I bought this about a month ago now to work on some home painting projects both interior and exterior. The education center videos and quick reference guide was outstanding. Really easy to understand and use. I've completed several of my projects extremely fast. Can't say enough about this product.

We got the Magnum X5 to spray stain/sealer a series of privacy panels in our backyard and a trash bin corral. 11 panels including two gates. Well over 1100 square feet of surface area to cover. The X5 got it done with ease in one day - approximately five hours. The prep and clean up can be a little daunting at first, but once you have been through the process a couple times, it starts to make sense and becomes less of a task. Being able to hook the X5 to a garden hose to clean it makes it so easy.

First time using this the spray pattern has lines at the top and bottom. Changed the pressure, not much changed. Hope to sell it and let it be someone else’s problem. Cleaning it takes longer than the amount you use it. Don’t bother calling the help number.

Works very well. The only problem is with the spray nozzle. The part called single seal gasket just fell out of the nozzle. The rubber washer that attaches to it came off and can not find it. So far I can not find just the rubber piece. The whole single seal gasket has to be purchased as far as I can see.
