    Nice sized rice cooker, conflicting instructions.

    One reason I bought this rice cooker to replace the one I had was because the online description said the lid, pot, and plastic scoop to dish out the rice were top rack dishwasher safe. I received the product and the instruction included with the device say the parts should be hand washed. I’d like to know which of these instructions are correct. Can’t recommend to a friend until I know which is correct.

    Defective product

    The metal container dosen't sit flat into base. I requesting a replacement of a different rice cooker the spring in bottom basw sits up high which causea the metal container to wabble back and forth.

    an inexpensive piece of junk

    this is a well made, attractive and functional rice cooker, but the problem is that it doesn't cook rice very well. comes with a little plastic stirring spoon, a doll like measuring cup (2/3 of a cup). Plugs in nicely, cooks only large quantities of rice barely satisfactorilyl.. Small portions like for one person dry up quickly, leaving the rice crunchy and not done. Even 2 "cups" of raw rice (a medium amount of rice to cook) turn out parched on the bottom (a little chewy as if over cooked). Not a good buy, but very inexpensive!

    Love this basic rice cooker

    I bought this to replace a similar rice cooker that has served me well for years. The old one had a pfas coated bowl which was peeling. Love the new ceramic coated bowl. The new one works great!
