Cheaply made

I bought this less than 2 months ago. I love the way this slow cooker cooks food, but the handles are just awful. Even though it’s pretty, it’s cheap-looking. The handles are covered with some kind of weird plastic stuff, that kind of reminds me of old fashioned contact paper. They started peeling the first week I got it with only hand washing, and keeps peeling a little every time I touch the peeling spots now. The handles are also loose and wobbly. I’ve tightened the screws but they don’t stay tight very long. I messaged the company and they said they do not cover anything cosmetic. I should have sent it back but I like the way it cooks. Really disappointed in the design flaw. I leave my slow cooker sit out on the counter because I use it almost daily, but those handles look crusty. Disappointed in Green Pan. I was a good customer and recommended them to others, but won’t anymore.
Worst Crockpot

I have had many crockpots over my lifetime and this is the worst. I have tried SEVERAL attempts cooking various types of meat and they are overcooked every time. I have NEVER had that happen with any other crockpot. It’s my biggest appliance purchase regret. Now I have the expense of buying another crockpot while stuck with a garbage one.
Best thing I ever bought for the kitchen!

I got a (pink) 6 qt slow cooker and was so shocked when it arrived because it's SO LIGHTWEIGHT! I had to stop using my old heavy one where everything stuck to it, impossible to wash clean, and my hands would go numb and hurt to where I dropped it (arthritis). Not only is my green life slow cooker super lightweight but it is also much more powerful so instead of "High" setting I can now use the "Medium" heat setting and get even juicier and more tender meats. I'm so pleased with this cookware that it's been the only thing that I've used since I bought it over 6 months ago, except for my complementary rice cooker. The other features it comes with (that regular crock pots don't have) is the non-stick coating and the non-slip handles. I can now sear and brown meats, onions, etc. before I add some half & half or other choice of liquid and there is no need to use any type of oil or fat to fry in first unless you prefer that. I've used a tiny bit of virgin olive oil for onions or eggs. I cannot recommend this high enough! Oh, I forgot to mention that you actually sear/fry on your stove top as usual and then put the insert pot into the base. Amazing. I came on here to see if they sell extra inserts because it would be so convenient to be able to prep and have the next one ready to go.

Love it! Used it the day after i received it to cook a roast. Turned out great. Not overcooked. My husband does the dishes and says it was so easy to wash. Nothing sticks to it. I don't have to use a liner bag. Yay. Have not tried using it on the stove yet.

Cleans easily and works great, however it chips and scratches easily. I’ve used 3x and have left marks each time.

The pan starts to flake after use and i'm sure we're eating the metal flakes which is gross. I contacted the company and they said it's "normal." Well, that's not normal to me.

I was about to purchase my 3rd ceramic slow cooker because the coating had worn down and it looked rusty. Then I found the Greenlife slow cooker. I love the timer, delay and warming options! Plus it's lightweight and dishwasher safe. It's everything my old ceramic slow cooker was not!
Simple Functional Slow Cooker

Love it!! Perfect size for any family. Was pleasantly surprised at the lightweight insert which can be used on stovetop or in oven to sauté meat or vegetables before starting the slow cook process. Very attractive product with bamboo handles and knobs. Like the simplicity of straightforward slow cook function, no complicated controls/settings to figure out.
Cooks Ok but cheaply made

I had high hopes but I was disappointed. The main concern is the cord comes out of the center of the bottom of the cooker, and actually touches the hot cooker, I feel this is dangerous. Most other slow cookers have the cord coming out of the back so it can't touch the cooker when it is hot. The silver accents that you see, are just painted on and will peel off. The idea is good, but the product is so cheaply made that it is junk, I don't feel safe leaving it on without supervising it. Which makes me question the non toxic part. It does cook food okay, so that is why it is getting a 2. They could take this same idea and make a much better quality product.

This slow cooker is the best! I have gone through so many slow cookers, I mean I’m 72. Being able to sear on my stove top in an environmentally safe pan, then place into the slow cooker, kick back, read my book and know dinner is pretty much done. Love. The lid is a secure seal. Pan is so easy to clean, lightweight, no heavy ceramic. I have already used it twice in the past week. Very versatile.

impressed with my healthy duo. The color is very important and it was spot on. The fact that it has three temperature controls that work according to the level is fantastic as the previous cookers would get too hot or the heat would be nonexistent. I'm impressed I'm buying one for my daughter for her birthday
Great but slippery lid!

I LOVE my greenlife pot, but the lid slid off after use when I was cleaning and shattered into the ground. It kept sliding, and I had caught it before, but this time I was not so lucky. It wouldn't be a huge deal if they had a replacement I could purchase, but there is not, so I will have to go to another brand :/ If there is somewhere I can buy a new lid, please let me know! I do love this device.
