I needed another soup/meal last minute for family coming over. I had just purchased the Multifunction Deep Electric Skillet and had not used it yet. Read through the instructions and available features quickly and started in on chicken and rice soup. Cooked the chicken in the skillet, then cooked the rice in the skillet while shredding the chicken. Added chicken broth and vegetables to the finished rice and boiled to cook the vegetables, and then added the chicken and seasoning and set it on the soup function within minutes of family arriving. After an hour switch the function to simmer and eventually to warm. The soup was a hit and was hot and ready for over 6 hours with out burning or getting to hot and only ONE dish to clean! Absolutely, my favorite appliance!

I love this skillet. You can cook rice and have plenty of room to stir it. I have cooked sauce, made soup and boiled water for kids Mac and cheese. It’s Amazing!! Don’t hesitate!

This is a nice "gadget" but I can see it being donated soon. The presets are nice but the manual settings are ridiculous. Why can I only set the manual cook time for ONE HOUR maximum. That makes NO sense. Also adjusting the time/temp is not user friendly. To lock in the adjusted time, press "time" again. To lock in the adjusted temp, press "start". Why not have the process the same and press "temp" again. I can't count the number of times I've accidentally turned it off pressing "start/stop" for the wrong adjustment.

I really enjoy cooking on my electric skillet. I love all the safety features and easy to use!

It’s excellent. I recently made chicken curry, I sautéed onions and they cooked very evenly.

I want to love my multi cooker skillet, but even on the simmer mode it boils the food. I have tried numerous things to get it to simmer, but it comes to a rolling boil - ruined several meals now

I am a big fan of this multifunction skillet. I use it for steaming, stir frying, slow cook… it is an embodiment of all cooking functions and with its large size esp the generous diameter and the depth, I can cook large and small portions without any fuss. Literally it can replace all other stove top cooking appliances in my kitchen. That has been the reason why I’ve bought 3 of the same over the last 2 years. And this is where the problem is ~ the induction point between the pot and the base burns and melts within a few months of use. The first one I thought was my mishandling. The second time I was very careful but still the rubber(?) started burning and melting, emitted very bad odor that is upon research apparently extremely hazardous for the lungs. I had to air the entire house for 2 days for the smell to go away. The third one I have only used for 2 months and the melting begins again. I cannot believe there is no repair dept or part replacement option. Every time any part of the skillet is impaired, the whole thing needs to be discarded. Imagine the harm to the environment ~ and considering 3 skillets in 2 years. This skillet has been the best appliance in my kitchen but I will not buy it or any Greenpan electric product ever again until the company decides to own up to its problems ~ the short shelf life (I was expecting a skillet to last at least 5-10 years), the lack of part replacement and/or repair and the disregard of environmental responsibility.

I zm so appreciative of your qui response to the problem I had. You were so patient and understanding. I like my multifun tion electric skillet. I wish I had it a long time ago. It is working great. Thanks for producing such a healthy and convenient pot.

This electric skillet is great and my favorite kitchen gadget. I do wish there was an option to hold a custom temp setting for more than 59 minutes, however.

Only used it once so far but I love it and will use it a lot.

I have never enjoyed cooking more! This pan is absolutely amazing. The nonstick surface works like a dream—cleanup is effortless. I can literally wipe it clean with a paper towel, no scrubbing needed! I’m not used to that, and I love it! From eggs to stir-fries, everything cooks evenly and slides right off. I’m so grateful I discovered GreenPan. If you’re still on the fence, it’s time to jump in—you won’t be disappointed!

This is so versatile! I can get a good sear then turn to cook low and slow and cover. I’ve make pancakes, fried rice, and burger so far and I love love love! It’s so easy to clean, too.
