Been using for many years - been happy in the past, but product is not keeping up with changes. Schedule C doesn't remember my depreciation schedule for equipment - impossible to tell if you've added some things twice by mistake. The product is no longer very good. Can't recommend.

Couldn't figure out how to have the program do a protective estimate (Fed & State) for the following year. I had to set up manually. 2 year comparison report would be nice for first year users. Should have an easy way to enter prior year numbers.

Poor instructions and little help with a 1099-LTC. Complicated process to file an extension; program would not allow a electronic signature and IRS would not accept it without one. I have used this program and its predecessors for decades, but plan to use something else next year.

I’m happy that for the first time in three years the IRS took my electronic transfer rather than me having to print and mail it. (Even though I properly used the prior year AGI as code , etc.) I’m still a little miffed at your service because I bought your expensive self-employed business and rental edition software, yet when I tried to appropriately write off/amortize my newly replaced roof on my rental property, all your instructions said was “ yes this can be done, see the IRS code….” Instead of offering me easy answers. It’s like you chose to skip helping us landlords with this.

I've been using H and R Block software for many. I have found it easy to use and accurate. It would be nice if the section on inherited IRAs was expanded. Also if you could print some of the screenshots.

The program is great. It asks the best questions for most items. However, determining if you should use a schedule C or just put the deductible on the schedule A. To make the correct choose requires several mind-bending thoughts. That criticism might just be me trying to get the best deduction.

I was completely finished with my return, and I was going over it completely when some glitch in the program added a form regarding farming that I have NO idea what and why that happened. I had to do the entire return over because your software would not allow me to delete this form that ultimately messed up the entire income tax return.

As usual I have issues with this software. It freezez and stall and I get the pinwheel of death every time I need to advance the page. This happened with several other year's versions over the last 4-5 years. I tried to reload it and that helped some., but continues to have issues.

Overall, good program. State program still difficult in finding how to exclude pension income. I wish long time users could be rewarded a little more when purchasing program.
