A: We recommend using Hagerty Jewel Clean in the sonic machine. Each machine comes with 2 Jewel Clean concentrate packets and there is an available 6 oz Jewel Clean concentrate bottle sold separately for additional uses.

Q: WILL THIS TAKE TARNISH OFF STERLING SILVER NECKLACES?

A: It will not remove tarnish from silver. There are many Silver Care kits available on the Target website for Tarnish removal. The Sonic machine is for diamonds, gemstones, platinum, gold, stainless steel, and titanium.

Confession time: I’ve been scolded by a jeweler for the condition of the jewelry I wear daily. And I’m the first to admit, my rings get stuff like lotion and sunscreen in the crevices which is admittedly not cute - but I’ve never known how to get that stuff cleaned out because the canister of cleaner with the little brush just does nothing. Enter: this device. It’s a small miracle, truly. Sometimes I have to run my rings through several cycles, but it’s totally worth it because all the nooks, crannies, and crevices are sparkly clean when I’m done. I can actually see the light shining through to reach the gemstones and make them glitter and gleam like they did back when they were brand new! Anecdotally, over the summer we were staying with my sister for an extended visit and were living without all the comforts of home. Not even kidding, this device is what I missed the most. I was so relieved to clean my jewelry when we got home! (Sunscreen, be gone!)

Great product for cleaning jewelry and watches. It is well constructed and built. Fast and efficient. Very pleased that it came with two small packs of cleaning solution that we could use right out of the box. The machine did an amazing job cleaning our jewelry and watches. Very user friendly. Highly highly recommend this product. We looked everywhere for a jewelry machine and was pleased to find this one at target for a reasonable price.

I bought this to clean my engagement ring, which has a lot of intricate metalwork. The back of the main stone was looking foggy, but I couldn't access it to clean. I bought this on a whim and I was SUPER impressed with how well it worked. My ring looks brand new! It costs about the same as having the jewelry store clean it once or twice so it's a great deal. Easy to use and the default cleaning cycle, which is what I used for my ring, was 180 seconds. Only thing I didn't realize is that there's cleaning solution you have to buy. The machine comes with two .5oz packets, so you can use it right out of the box.

This jewelry cleaning machine works by ultrasonic cavitation - alternating high and low pressures which make tiny bubbles that burst causing energy that cleans every nook and cranny in the jewelry. My wedding ring is a domed pave beauty with a spacer that prohibits direct cleaning access of the back side of the diamonds. Six minutes in the Hagerty cleaned out all the build up making the diamonds very sparkly and the gold band shiny. It can be used for porous stones and pearls too. I also like the size - not too big to store easily but big enough to hold a good amount of jewelry per cleaning cycle. I recommend purchasing a bottle of cleaning concentrate as it comes with two "sachets" which is enough cleaning concentrate to fill the container one time, which you can use for more than one cleaning cycle. The directions are easy to understand and the machine is not complicated to use. I am pleased how clean and shiny my jewelry came out.
