This rain-hat saved me. My hood ob my rain jacket barely covers my head with my Afro or any hairstyle.

It smells like it has been worn before and it also just doesn’t look new. The plastic portion at the front has a lot of scratches and i also can’t seem to get it to shape like a cap, more rounded and not just a flat piece of plastic on a bonnet (not sure if it was messed up during delivery). The color looks very dull (black). I don’t think I will be using it. I would return this item but I don’t feel like paying another random restocking fee. Really wanted to like this one. My package also arrived damaged. I ordered two items. The swim cap seems perfectly fine. But the rain hat just didn’t seem new.

When I tell you it rained, I mean it poured down and I was really confident that my hair would be fine. It rained and I walked around picking apples for another hour. I thought “ oh no, what if I’m supposed to take this off my head? What if it’s not intended for extended wear once it’s wet?” Well that didn’t matter. When I finally took the Hairbrella off, my hair looked as if I hadn’t been out in the rain. My family was impressed. When they saw me with this contraption on my head, I could see that they doubted it would work, but later my mom asked me for information so that she could purchase one as well. May your business be blessed, this product has been needed for so long!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My rain bonnet arrived with the visor bent. It would not straighten. I placed the rain bonnet on my head. Since my Afro doesn't lay flat, of course, the whole rain cap stood up and didn't fold over. Resembled a vacuum bag on a portable vacuum. Worst of all, even though I received a damaged product I have to pay $7. 25 restocking fee. Plus the extra money I paid for the surprise gift is not refundable. It was a bad purchase for me. I've lost money because of my decision to buy the product. It should have been free to return the defective item. I didn't choose to get a replacement item, I don't know if it was even offered, because the visors shouldn't bend and remain lopsided. The description talks about being able to store it away. I reread the positive reviews after I had this experience. I noticed that a lot of people hadn't actually used the product or only used it once.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been fine so far. I bought the xl to allow for my hair to fit. It sometimes looks puffy which can be weird looking. I wonder if I should have gone with the classic size.
