Q: I am confusing between model 72850 and 72860? What is the wattage of each one and the bowl can be switchable ?

A: Thank you for your question. The Food Chopper model 72850 will operate at 350 Watts while model 72860 will operate at 175 Watts. The bowl are not interchangeable between the appliances.

I'm no cheffy type and it took me years to get brave enough to order a little food chopper since I'm not pro enough to operate one with multiple functions. This little sweet chopper is for novices like me but chops veggies like magic. Just chop them into 1" or 2" pieces, plop them into the container with the blade inserted, plug in and push the lid down - wala - you're ready to have a veg coleslaw or nice veg mix. It only has one setting so I'm OK with it. It's the one setting I needed. Cleans in seconds by hand or in the DW. Enjoy.

Chopped up onion and green pepper. Had to cut into large chunks before placing in food chopper. Can easily over chop and almost puree if you fill it up really full. But, in 15 seconds you can have half an onion finely chopped. Definitely a time saver. Super easily to assemble. Washed in the dishwasher and cleaned up nicely. Compact for easy storage. Would for sure buy again.

I wanted a small food processor, that could cut raw carrots, to save me time on salad-making. I searched the question and answer site, and saw that someone else has already asked that question. When I saw that the little machine has enough power to cut nuts, hard cheese and carrots, I purchased it from Target. The price was right, and yes, it does cut carrots, and likely, other tough foods. Additionally, I do not have to struggle with a locking top, and the stack and press, is easy. I am very pleased with my purchase.
