Have only limited use thus far- but performs exactly as instructions state. Tips helpful. Will be using a LOT more for non-pressure cooker tasks. Brands I have tried in past just didn't hack it. This one sure does. Only unknown is longevity, but other HB products I have it!.

This pressure cooker is the best, you can make a lot of different things, i love the steam option

As a mom, meals can get boring and repetitive, especially when you have younger kids but this was unbelievable. I used it at home and tried several different meals and the main thing I noticed was how easy it was to use. Its durable and made to last and super easy to clean! I find myself using it every night for dinner. You just put your meal in, press the corresponding button and "Presto", a tasty, healthier, perfectly cooked meal for the family.

Pressure cookers always kinda scared me, not exactly sure why, but I always thought that 1.) They were difficult to use, and 2.) I was terrified that it would like, explode in my face or something. I am happy to report that neither of these assumptions were true, in fact, quite the opposite was true. This pressure cooker came already assembled right out of the box, with very clear instructions. I felt pretty confident right after taking out of the box and reading over the instructions. So I followed the directions for the first use, which were clear and easy to understand. To my surprise, it didn't explode, and all went well. I decided to use it that same night for dinner, which would be chicken and gravy. I was so shocked and pleased to have the ability to cook my chicken breasts from frozen! Seriously! Yep, I took them out of the freezer, added my liquid and seasoning to the pot, and pressure cooked, and they turned out incredibly moist and delicious, and in half the time it would have taken to thaw and cook on the stovetop. This method was not only quicker, but it tasted like it had cooked low and slow all day long. Incredible! I have to add, do be sure to add enough liquid when using the pressure cook mode! I cooked a dish that ended up burnt, because I didn't add enough liquid to the pot. Not only can you pressure cook with this awesome little guy, but you can also sear your food and slow cook in the same pot. Yes! This powerful, multi-functional miracle machine has replaced my bulky slow cooker and has quickly become my best friend in the kitchen! In addition to pressure cooking, slow cooking, and searing, this cooker also has a helpful temperature probe included. This feature is very helpful, especially when cooking meats. I look forward to using my little kitchen buddy every single day. Not only is it fun and easy to use, it produces the most delicious meals with minimal effort and time. I was able to cut my time in the kitchen in half, and that is saying a lot! I am very very pleased with this product, as well as all appliances and products by Hamilton Beach! If you are on the fence about trying the precision pressure cooker, here is your sign to go for it! You will not be disappointed.

Normally, it would take 3-4 hours! Definitely saves me a lot of gas as well. It's so easy to use and I've tried a lot of other things to cook. Everything turned out so good! It's great!

Would have been better with a full digital or LCD readout. The temperature probe does help with making sure properly cooked. It does take up a lot of counter space, best being put in pantry or closet when not in use. Easy to clean with removable pot.

It adds elegance to my kitchen and is easy to clean. Rice cooking, pressure cooking and slow cooking are the main features required in my Nepali/Nepalese American household. I cooked rice and pressure cooked Nepali meat curry and lentil daal that tasted as flavorful as they would in traditional cookware. I love that it shows the temperature and includes accessories that are useful.

I made chicken and it turned out really good and was super fast to make and the steam release button was nice made it safer to use it also made rice very fast and so easy and quick which is nice since I’m always looking for a faster way to cook dinner for my family. It was super easy to clean everything up I liked the preset cooking programs they come in handy I love and recommend this pressure cooker it’s a lifesaver everyone needs this it makes dinner super quick and the meat is fall apart tender and so moist it’s wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first pressure cooker I have ever owned and I have to say I was surprised. My first attempt using and I decided on red beans and rice that my husband absolutely loves. It usually takes me all day and this took me an hour and a half. I used a different recipe than usual because I was using a pressure cooker. I hit the saute button and it heated up quickly. Once the onions and celery where almost finished, I added the rest of the ingredients, hit the beans button, I did have a tough time getting the lid on the first time, it kept beeping at me and showing "lid" but I unplugged it and plugged back in, I got the lid on correctly. After 45 mins, this usually takes 6 hours to this point, I let the pressure go and the house smelled wonderful!! (husband kept saying "you're making me hungry!)" I tested the beans, they where perfectly cooked. the whole meal turned out great with lots of flavor. The pressure cooker is well designed, easy to read and use. Cleaning was simple and easy, most parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher. I would recommend this pressure cooker as it has many features, pressure , non pressure and even a probe. I can't wait to try them all.

The instructions are very easy to follow, and understand. The detailed booklet explains how to set it up, use it for the first time, and offers various cooking tips and ideas. This pot can do everything! It includes a rack for meats, a temperature probe, a measuring cup, a drip cup, and a plastic spoon that's great when using the pot as a rice cooker. The pot will let you know if the lid is not secured properly. It actually beeps, and shows the code "lid" on the control panel when it's not on there right. I love every single recipe I have tried so far. I think my favorite was the 6lb frozen whole chicken I cooked in less than 40 minutes. It was amazing!!! The chicken was falling off of the bones when I opened the lid. The meat was moist, juicy, and flavorful. I was surprised, and so was my family. I've also successfully done baked potatoes, vegetable soup, beef stew, and spaghetti. This is my first pressure cooker, and it has exceeded my expectations. I've trusted Hamilton Beach for many other products, but they have really hit it out of the park with this pressure cooker. No need to fear this method of cooking. The lid actually locks into place when using it, so it's safe. It is a bit loud at the end when releasing the pressure from the cooker, but it's completely fine. This is such a welcome addition to my home. It has already taken the place of several of my other appliances.

I made birria tacos. The meat came out extremely tender and flavorful in less time that I was expecting it to take. I cant wait to see how many other things I can cook in it.
