Stopped working at 6 months
Griddle stopped heating up at approximately 6 months of owning it. We don't use it every week or anything either. Contacted Hamilton Beach, they would only replace it if we paid shipping. Unacceptable that I have to pay more to replace a faulty product sold to me, that should be on the company that sold the faulty product and in my opinion means they are not standing behind their products. I ordered a Presto instead, I have owned them before and they last longer than that. Shame on Hamilton Beach.

Had this for 2 years. It worked great and only used it 2-3 times a month. I noticed the adapter was getting stuck and was hard to pull out. Yesterday, I was using it on low and it started to smoke and filled the air with a horrible electrical smell .

So I’ll give it two stars because it worked at first. But after repeated use it only heats properly around the heat ring. And that gets too hot compared to the rest of the unit.
