We got a Hatch for our son as a baby shower gift and we absolutely loved it! As soon as I got pregnant with my daughter, we knew we needed another one. I had a few issues come up with the second one we purchased, but I contacted Hatch and they sent me a replacement!! Being able to set schedules on it is my absolute favorite feature!

Our baby loves it and so do we. The night light is nice and with the premium subscription you get a lot of fun stuff

This is simply the best. We don't even pay for premium, and it's so useful nonetheless. We tried to avoid buying a second one for our second child because of the price, but the cheaper alternatives don't come close.

It stopped working and they sent a replacement and now the replacement also doesn’t work.

Honestly, I don’t understand the hype. The app is atrocious. Lags, has “errors” whenever I try to create or edit, & you have to pay for access to 95% of the content. I’m feeding my daughter right now and the machine just stopped right in the middle of a “playlist” and said “off”. Honestly it’s been super annoying thus far.

We love our hatch!! We cannot go a day without it. It helps my little ones get a good night’s rest and wake up refreshed. We also use it during nap tip so they won’t get distracted from all of the noise.

Perfect for babies and toddlers

I’ve been using hatch products for years and have gotten my children each one for their rooms. Completely customizable to each child’s needs, age, developmental stage and also fun stories and music now! Highly recommend.

I was gifted a Hatch 1st generation with my first child and loved it so much I put the second generation on my registry for baby number 2. I wish they hadn’t changed the original model. The 1st generation was simple, loud, and didn’t have to be connected to WiFi. I have the 1st generation on 40% sound and it’s louder than the 2nd generation at 80%. I wish I could still purchase the 1st generation model.

I initially got one for my newborn but quickly realized it’s not just for babies! My 5 year old uses the stories as part of his bedtime routine, I use it to wind down and relax. It’s been such a nice addition to all of our bedtime routines. The whole family is sleeping better with one in each room.

do not buy specifically for a baby/nursery. the app takes forever to load, a subscription is required for different sounds/colors besides the default. if not connected to wifi you cannot update any of the settings. just not easy to use with an upset baby. if wanting a nursery sound machine pick something not as complicated.

I’ve loved all of our Hatch devices. We just got our 3rd for our 3rd baby. The fan sound cuts in and out, often pausing, which is disruptive to sleep. I love the wind down routines and wake up lights.

I wish I could buy another 1st gen. We have that for our oldest and it’s been great! This one has too many unnecessary options and is more complicated. It does not get even close to as loud as the 1st generation.

There is no way to delete a Hatch not being used. Also creating your own routine os complicated.

We own 3 Hatches(1 for each of our kids) and every single one has a problem now. So disappointed and upset that now our kids have nothing to use. We did get a replacement for one of them but never the second that we had purchased within a few months of the other. One only shows light, the 2nd one has sound that goes in and out, and the 3rd turns on for a second then turns off and even displays “off”

I love my hatch, but it has been recently acting weird at times. I go to turn down the brightness of the light and it turns totally off and then right back on really bright. This happens over and over until I just turned the light completely off. Otherwise, it’s great!

Broke after one year of use. We were very gentle with it and kept it on a dresser. Now the cord is SO sensitive and doesn’t work 9/10 times. Even when plugged all the way in, the connection is finicky and you have to delicately try to twist the cord to potentially get it to turn on. Sometimes will turn off on its own because of the bad wires. Was great when it lasted. It helped my 4 year old know when he could get out of bed in the morning. We ended up just going back to our original tried and true $15 sound machine. This thing is expensive junk!

The clock feature is very bright even on the lowest setting. We have several Hatch brand sound machines and this version is too complicated to set up. We prefer the 1st gen for simplicity. However, it doesn't provide brown noise so it's a no go now. We. Like the light features but again, it's impossible to get it configured right and easily. Worst of all is the price increases. Normal price is $59, but it randomly spikes to $69 near holiday and sales times. Sneaky! We are looking elsewhere for sound and wake-up machines.
