Smells amazing. Absorbs quickly. I like to keep it in the refrigerator. The cold feels good on sunburn.

This after-sun lotion is a total game-changer! It leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth—literally like baby skin. The texture is light, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave any sticky feeling. Plus, the scent is absolutely amazing—fresh, summery, and totally addictive. It smells like vacation in a bottle! I seriously can’t get enough of it. Perfect for soothing the skin after a day in the sun. Highly recommended!

It feels silky smooth in your hands and smells great. The bottles were small (6oz) so I was hesitant, but I use this sparingly. I have the Lime coolada after sun lotion and use that more liberally.

I’ve purchased this product numerous times. Usually when I can’t get my hands on the body butter. (I loathe the Lime Coolada smell so I can only pick between the two.) This is a gel lotion. I think it’s important to point this out because if you have dry skin, this isn’t going to be enough for you. Think of it as an aloe gel swirled with a light “after sun” lotion. I know, it’s pretty obvious. But sometimes we all need a reminder so we don’t end up disappointed. It is fragranced, lightly but it is there. So if you don’t like the scent or have skin sensitivity issues, this might not be your favorite. (I have all kinds of skin issues and have never had a problem with this, even on my face in a pinch.) I, however, love the smell of Hawaiian Tropic— and for the life of me, I can’t figure out why they’re letting ‘Vacation’ rake in so much money with their (light and quickly dissipating) perfume! I want a bottle of EDP from Hawaiian Tropic! So many years of deliciously fragranced products, why not give the customer what they want? (And make money at the same time?!?) Sorry. Back to this product. Lightweight, lightly scented, spreads easily, and soaks right in so you’ll never be stuck waiting to get dressed. The only drawback is that it’s not a serious moisturizer. But that can be said for most specifically designated “After Sun” products. After all, the last thing you want to do with a burn is apply some heavy occlusive that seals the heat in. Hope this helps if you’re on the fence!

I love this lotion. It smells amazing and does not leave you feeling greasy. It helps so much when I get sunburnt; after a couple days it turns to a tan and using it multiple times helps from skin peeling.

This is my go-to summer lotion. It feels cool when you put it on and it’s not greasy or sticky. Smells clean and summery.

I love putting on this lotion after the beach! It’s great that it’s a mix of aloe and lotion so it’s not drying like aloe alone can be. It also feels nice if I ever get a little sunburn.

We are always cautious in the sun, but sometimes we miss a reapplication here and there on ourselves and the kids. This product is great. Have been using it for years. Please please Please make more products in this scent or even just everyday lotion in this scent. It’s phenomenal.

I do not support tanning or preserving a tan in any way and wish the wording on the description would change on that, as it is sun damage and I do not use this for that purpose. However, I love it as a cooling aftersun and regularly applied moisturizer and find it very lightweight with a lovely scent.

Please make this in a huge gallon size jug!!!!! I love this stuff so much I have cleared the shelves at local stores around me.

This after sun lotion is the best product on the market. The scent is refreshing and it leaves my skin so soft for hours. I still use it everyday even if I wasn't in the sun.

This is the only thing I buy for after sun care! I use to never tan, just burn, and this helps me tan while getting the sting out of the sunburn. I keep it in the fridge so it’s extra cooling.

Only problem was the glue stickers they used under the shrink wrap. Completely unnecessary and very hard to get off. Couldn’t open one of the bottles the glue sticker sealed the cap shut

It is light and refreshing after a day in the sun.

This lotion barely qualifies as lotion. It did not moisturize. When applying, it looks like toothpaste. And the next day, my skin experienced a bad reaction. It felt very much like a chemical burn. It only intensified the sun burn from the day before. With another brand of lotion(that Target no longer sells) my sunburn would have turned a golden brown by the next day. I’ve learned my lesson. Stick with what you know.

This lotion smells AMAZING! It is lightweight, non-greasy, absorbs well, and the fragrance lasts. Not only do I use this to prolong any color I get from the sun, but also for the healing aloe vera & moisturization. It is great to use after shaving & waxing to hydrate & soothe; for me, it seems to help prevent razor burn. I recently used it when my face, neck, & chest broke out in hives from a harsh skincare product - 24 hours after applying this lotion in the morning and night, the hives had significantly diminished! I’ve also noticed it doesn’t stain clothes/fabrics. It isn’t thick; I feel like a little bit goes a long way. I had one bottle for over 2 years and I didn’t notice a significant change in the scent, texture, or viscosity. It doesn’t have the menthol smell that many aloe vera gels have, and I’ve never noticed a cooling or burning sensation. My absolute favorite part is the smell, it brings to mind summer, sunshine, and happiness. I can’t recommend it enough!!!
