Good while it lasted
This blanket was a bit pricey and given that, I feel it should last longer than it did. I took very good care of it and followed all care instructions. I’ve barely had it a year and it’s suddenly throwing an error code. Can’t return to Target and Brookstone won’t honor an exchange either. It’s good, if you don’t mind throwing money out the window in the future.

Stopped workkng after less than a year
Bought last year for Black Friday. Worked good for a while. One side warmed better than the other. Used it twice this season (nov 2025) and one side doesn't work. Won't turn on. Reading the reviews it seems this is all common issues. It's really soft on both sides but it's no use to me now.

Buyer beware!
We purchased this one year ago and it has started shocking my sons feet if he plugs it in. I asked him why he doesn’t use it anymore and he said it shocks him and he has to unplug it. It is sending small shocks in the base wiring. Do not buy! I took it from him and plan to contact the company.

This was my favorite blanket my mom bought it for me for Christmas. I used it a lot like everyday almost since Christmas like 5-6 months ago? But now one side has an error message and there isn’t anything I can do. I wish I didn’t love it so much cause now I’m very sad. First I thought it was the controller but no cause I swapped it and it’s that side of the blanket :(

I loved this heated blanket so much for the first few months, but it ended up dying and no longer heating up. So now I’m trying to get a hold of the manufacturer to see if it’s under warranty and I’m having a hard time doing so. Maybe somebody at target.com will reach out and give me the information.

I like that it’s a dual sided blanket that my husband and I can adjust for our comfort levels and it has a timer for instances that we may fall asleep while it’s still on, it gives us good peace of mind that it will turn off.
