I lost more than half of my hair, it’s so alarming that I had to go back to the reviews to see what others have said. And I’m shocked that it isn’t just me!!!!! I have to take it away from myself and the rest of the bathrooms from my other kids. Even my 11 year old daughter is losing significant amount of hair!!! This is horrible. I’m returning whatever I can!!

Severe eye irritation

Love the smell and cleaning ability but causes SEVERE eye irritation. I have not had this reaction with other shampoos but even a tiny bit in my eye caused it to be red, puffy and blurry for 24 hours even after an immediate through rinse and repeated eye drops. After 2 instances of the same severe eye irritation I’m temped to throw away the whole bottle. Not worth being in pain for 24 hours after use if you get a tiny bit in your eye.

I have never regretted making a decision as much as I regret buying this shampoo. This has caused SEVERE hair loss, over 60% of my hair has fallen out from using this shampoo alone. It is horrible. I wish I could sue.

I’d give this shampoo and conditioner NO stars. I have used the rose herbal essence shampoo and conditioner for years and up until this last purchase I have noticed a major difference with the product. 1. The shampoo itself tangles my hair even after applying conditioner. 2. Alarming amount of hair loss 3. Left my hair with an unpleasant smell. I am returning both bottles.

I purchased it because I loved the smell and said color safe. I have recently colored my hair ( fairly dark) and used this 3 times now since and my white towels have brown markings all over them. I personally would not call this color friendly.

Ok, listen, I'm a guy, but I once dated a girl years ago that used this shampoo. Once day, I used it as a "bodywash" due to not having anything at "her place" to use, but - wow - I was hooked after one shower! This "soap" is so amazing! It's a wonderful sweet rosey flooral scent with hints of berries and other lovely things I can't identify, all making it a luxuious experience of sensory delight to bath in. If you're sick of all the manly "musky" smelling "male body washes" on the market, this is the answer to your prayers!!! It's been on the market for years, so it's a truste brand. Oh, and not to mention the plethora of compliments I get "from the ladies" on how "amazing I smell" after showering with it. It's gotten me so many dates I can't count now! LOL! I am extremely disappointed with the Herbal Essences Rose Hips Smooth Shampoo. After using this product, I experienced severe hair loss that I’ve never encountered with any other shampoo. The hair fall was excessive and alarming, making me regret trying this product. Not only did it cause significant hair loss, but it also failed to keep my hair clean. By the next day, my hair felt greasy and unclean, as if I hadn’t washed it at all. Instead of the smooth and refreshed feeling I was hoping for, my hair was left looking dull and lifeless. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend this shampoo to anyone. If I could, I would give it zero stars. I will definitely not be repurchasing this product.
