A: Hello and thank you for your question. We would advise that you follow the cleaning instructions found in the Information Manual. FAN CLEANING: (1) Always unplug the fan before cleaning. (2) Do not allow water to drop on or into fan housing. Use only a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution. (3) Do not use harsh chemicals such as gasoline, thinner, or benzene as a cleaner. FAN BLADE CLEANING: (1) Always unplug the fan before cleaning. (2) Remove the front grill by opening the clips located around the perimeter. (3) Clean the fan blade, front and rear grills with a soft clot moistened with a mild soap solution. (4) Securely fasten the front grill to the rear grill by closing the clips over ther perimeter. FAN HEAD, BASE, AND POLE CLEANING: (1) Unplug the fan. (2) Using a soft, moist cloth (with or without a mild soap solution), carefully clean the fan based, pole and head. (3) Use CAUTION around the housing area. Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water.
