It was a toy my grandson wanted

You have to hit it at just the right strength for it to go around the track or else it flies off or doesn't even make it around. Terrible waste of $25

Do not buy. Bowser’s arm would not work immediately after assembling. My kid did not get even one use out of this toy, and it has a hefty price tag. It is junk.

It nice and all but not very sturdy. We make the most of it though.

Does not work well. It's hard to get the cars around the loops and breaks easily.

This toy didn’t last long for $50. The cars rarely make the loop because the plastic track is flimsy. The kids get bored with it.

We got this for Christmas. Only played with it a couple of times and Bowzer stopped working. It was my son’s Christmas present and he already wants to give it away.

The kids overall seem to like it, it's very fiddly with the amount of force needed to send the car over the loop properly. The Bowser wind mechanic doesn't last the entire match. But worst of all: it only comes with one car. The whole point of this is to be a competitive match, and half of it is useless without buying a second vehicle.

My children have played with this track set nonstop since Christmas. I love that you can easily have a friendly competition with the 2 sided track and it's fun to watch the cars slip past Bowser's swinging arms. The track was very reasonably priced considering the countless hours of use already and very easy to put together (my toddlers were even able to help). It only comes with 1 car but you can easily purchase additional MarioKart characters for additional themed character races.

Cars don’t go through the track like they are supposed to and pieces break off way too easily. Not worth the money, disappointing Christmas gift for my son.

This product shouldn't even be sold. While it says it won't work with "all" Hot Wheels cars, it really doesn't work with any, except for the ones made for it. That's important information. While it can theoretically work with other cars, the quality is so poor that it can't. The track segments don't fit together well enough. For the high reviews- a lot of people are only buying this for a gift, and they are only making the reviews based on the child's reaction. I suspect that other high reviews are only using it with cars specifically made for it, or maybe some people got lucky and the track fits together well. Even as a gift, this product should be priced under $20. It's simply terrible. It is also not compatible with normal expansion tracks.

I ordered this toy for my nephew for Christmas. It arrived at my house tossed into a damaged box with the front of the original box CUT OUT AND TAPED to the damaged box. Completely and totally unacceptable. Now I have to waste my time returning this item and finding a replacement in time for Christmas. Target should do better.

Connectors do not fit! Not worth the money.

I think the cars make it around the track about 7% of the time. Other times, they are launched through the air, typically towards a window. This one's a fail.

Got it on sale which was great. It’s meh

Wasn’t worth the price, the cars don’t always make it through the loop so it left my kids frustrated. Hit it to hard cars fly right off the side of the track not hard enough they don’t make it around. Too large to leave out all the time and it’s not exactly easy to put together. Also the track only works with the cars supplied. Maybe for a much lower price point I’d understand these flaws but certainly not at 50 bucks.

My son loved this when he first got it but has gotten bored of it a few months later. It’s also disappointing that the cars don’t always go through the loop all the way, you have to launch it exactly perfect for it to complete the loop.

I purchased a Hot Wheels track set for my 4-year-old, expecting the usual high quality associated with the brand. Unfortunately, this toy has been a major letdown. The primary issue lies with the launcher, which fails to function as advertised. Despite numerous attempts with different cars, the launcher does not consistently propel the cars onto the track. This design flaw has led to my child feeling frustrated and quickly losing interest in the toy. Moreover, even when some cars manage to stay on track, they do so unpredictably and require delicate handling to work, which is impractical for young children. Considering Hot Wheels' reputation for durable and enjoyable toys, this product is astonishingly subpar. The launcher is not only poorly designed but also fails to deliver the basic thrill and excitement one would expect from a toy race track. Overall, this toy has not lived up to the expectations set by the brand, leading to both parent and child disappointment. I would not recommend this Hot Wheels set.

My son loves anything Mario and hot wheels so this was a hit for a Christmas gift

My son likes this, but for the price maybe it could have been a push button trigger, and not a slam lever... And you need to hit it just right. Hit it too hard, the cars go off the track, not hard enough, they don't make it through the track.
