Guests are saying
Guests express significant frustration with the pricing and performance of HP ink cartridges, noting that while the printers are affordable, the ink costs are excessively high and proprietary. Many guests report issues with ink yield, often running out quickly, and difficulties with cartridge installation. Despite these concerns, some guests appreciate the quality of prints and the convenience of ordering. Overall, the experience is marred by the perception of being locked into expensive consumables.

Ink Rip Off
HP seems to have adopted the marketing strategy of razor companies in the past who sold their razors for very low prices, then made their profit by selling expensive razor blades. With HP, the printers are reasonably priced, but the ink has become an issue. I’ve owned an HP printer for years, decades, actually. And what I have noticed is that suddenly, without warning, only “authentic” HP ink cartridges work in it and this ink is very expensive. It seems that the ink runs out faster and faster each time I replace it in my printer. And don’t, whatever you do, sign up for the automatic ink replacement program. It is a rip off. When you cancel, your leftover ink cartridges won’t work in your printer.

Costly and won’t last long.
HP ink is wayyyyy overpriced and they make it so you can’t use any of brands. Plus the ink only prints two dozen pages then starts telling me in almost out of ink. Will probably get a different brand in the future.

HP cartridge
One of the cartridge is not being recognize by the printer as a genuine cartridge, dis appointing since they come from package of three.

INK EVERYWHERE! BUYER BEWARE!
I've used HP Ink for decades. However, today when I opened my black XL replacement ink cartridge, the ink went EVERYWHERE! On the floor, on my granite countertop, all over my hands, splattered on my top, my face, neck and chest. Later, when I went to have my nails redone, I also learned it was all over the bottom of my feet as well. Contacted HP and not so much as an apology. The product cost me a top I love and I had to pay to have my nails (mani and pedi) redone. Thankfully, it didn't stain my face, neck, chest, countertops or tile floor. When this printer wears out, and it will, I will NEVER buy HP again. It's about the principal. When your company provides a faulty product and costs a customer money, the least you can do is apologize. Instead, they didn't mention the issue, asked me to return the ink and THEN they would send a new one. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Gratefully, I bought from Target. Returned this one and ordered another (because I have no choice other than to buy a new printer). Next time I'll wear a hazmat suit!
