Hunt A Killer Game Night Gone Wrong Board Game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hunt a Killer- Game Night Gone Wrong was going good until my wife and I realized that the QR code to go to the website for the game had a 404 error code and was not accessible. I do not recommend this because the game is unsolvable without the digital aspect. We read all the reports, which was daunting to say the least; figured out how to open the lock box, and were stumped without the remaining clue. We did not open the answer envelope because we did not want to spoil it. There should be more pictures/photo evidence (like some of the other Hunt a Killer games). I emailed the team to see if they could get the website up, but I did not get a response. Sad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the pieces included in the box were all very detailed on making the experience real. My friends and I had a great time playing it together to solve the who done it (we did make the correct accusation fairly early and just used further found evidence to back it up/narrow). That being said given that it is a one time play game for a group we didn't see it as the best value for our money as there are plenty of games we can purchase and get multiple uses out of it. Overall the experience was fun but its a very one off game to play and maybe pass on to others you know so you get use out of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packing was great and I think that someone who likes complex games would love this, but as for me and my family we like a old traditional board game and this just was not it. You have to use your phone to play the game and we didn’t enjoy that too much. I didn’t realize that beforehand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid mystery solver and have played other games from “Hunt a Killer” but this one was a large disappointment. As if playing murder mystery game inside of a murder mystery game wasn’t tough enough, the link for additional clues and hints was a dead end-it didn’t work and the error message stated the domain wasn’t found. For a company as prominent as “Hunt a Killer”, I would have expected better”

It was kinda fun great for game night box is sturdy . Not something I’d want to play a bunch but definitely a good one to do with your teenagers .

I’m always interested in documentaries and mysteries, so it was a lot of fun to try to figure it out on my own. I’d absolutely recommend this game to other who like to solve crimes or a riddle!

It seems very well made and seems like it could be cool but we tried to play it for almost 5 hours… and got almost no where! Because we didn’t know where to start or what was next and didn’t know what the cards were for… it was a mess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great game... lots of great story. Great evidence and timeline. This is a pretty fun mystery game, one of the best I've seen. The puzzles are pretty good and the crime/criminal/victims mostly make sense. The folders, files and evidence all seem realistic. There's a lot of material in the box, each of the four sections is good for a session.

This isn’t your sit down quick game usually takes about an hour an hour and a half to get throughout the game. It really stimulates your brain and makes you think it is such a incredible thrillseeking game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Game Night Gone Wrong for free from Influenster and Hunt A Killer in exchange for an honest review. We had 3 people playing, and it took us over 2 hours to solve everything. It was really fun and entertaining. There was a lot of evidence to read and many secret clues to find. Because of the game, we stayed off our phones for over 2 hours. It was a good way to spend time together and keep our minds busy. I enjoyed the game and would recommend it for a fun night with friends.
