Hunter 52" Aeronaut Ceiling Fan Matte Black with Integrated LED Light and Handheld Remote, Damp Rated for Indoor/Outdoor Use

These fans are perfect! We bought four for our curved patio! They move ai! Ours are 52”. We love them and the light was a nice bonus as we didn’t plan on replacing ours with lights. The fact that we can control them by app, our Alexa or even the wall switch. Really sleek looking. Great compliments from visitors. cons: Hunter must do a better job of written directions. Numerous errors. Also having a tech you can speak to without jumping through hoops. Wanting to offer tech troubleshooting through email is problematic. I have a house-full of smart things I’ve done on my own, but unable to get these going by my self. My situation was unique in that mine were all in close proximity to each other and were all controlled on one wall switch. Once the tech and I got rolling with getting them going I was able to complete the rest of the set up! I’ve named them and we can control each one individually or all together and same with lights! Love them!

Easy install and worked perfectly with HomeKit. I've installed three different models of HomeKit compatible fans from Hunter and other than always taking longer than I plan for, they've worked flawlessly with HomeKit.

The primary differentiator of the fans we bought was the WiFiApple Home connectivity. I have tried multiple times to connect the fans, always unsuccessfully. Amazing that in 2025 a product cannot deliver this functionality without the user being an IT guru. Very disappointing. Otherwise, the fans work well and look nice in our home.

It comes with a remote so you don’t have to get up and pull any cords, so that’s a nice feature. The black color has a very nice finish to it. Over all very nice!

Good fan, but the app is not usable. I worked for 1+ hrs to get through all the steps and even set up a separate 2.4GHz hotspot to complete the process, but the app states that it is unable to find a "candidate" for set up and I need to power cycle the fan again after multiple attempts. I am also not happy about the included remote. It is unnecessarily minimal in design and not clear how to use the functions without the "cheat sheet" that it comes with. I hope the fan last many years, but won't be too angry to replace it.

I lobe that it has a remote but also has the capability to connect to my alexa and smart home app. This is a quiet fan great for cooling or keeping flies away. Either way this does and amazing job and does not cost alot to run. Great quality and simple to use.
