Product works great but no older people can open the darn pill pouch with scissors or a knife. Our elderly hands are not as strong as the young people who probably make the packaging. Convenient to take with you if it could be opened!

Unless I have access to a knife or a scissors, it would be very, very difficult to access the pills in blister packaging. Even then, I have occasionally broken pills while trying to access them - a waste of money. I like the product, but absolutely abhor the packaging.

The packaging is so very poor on any kind of Imodium product. I don’t recommend it for anyone specifically for that reason. I’ve taken scissors to them. It is so difficult to rip their ridiculous. Why are they packaged individually? Why can’t you just put them in a bottle so we can pick them out like a vitamin? It’s absolutely frustrating and time-consuming.

I'd give 5 stars for the effectiveness of immodium, however I'm only giving 3 because of packaging. I actually thought about 1 star because of it. For someone with little to no hand/finger strength your packaging of the caplets is absolutely rediculous! It's not a controlled substance for Pete's sake!!! Why make it nearly impossible to get to????? I had to use scissors to cut all the way around the pill and STILL had to practically chew my way in to get the pill out!!!! This is ridiculous! A person could crap their pants trying to get to these things! I think maybe I'll not buy these again!!!!!
Crappy packaging 4 years ago, nothing done

Packets are impossible to open by hand without crushing the tablet. Imodium has to hate it's customers. These complaints were acknowledged 4 years ago and nothing has been done. Customer retention gets a 0 out of 5 stars. Most people probably deuce themselves a couple times before they get just 1 tablet out of the packaging!

Worst packaging ever. It should not be so difficult to get relief while trying to open the blister pack. I see other answers to comments that says you are working on it but how many years has this product been on the market with the same miserable and frustrating packaging?

Because I must take Imodium daily, I have to buy several little boxes, sit and open each blister with a seam ripper and store in a small Ziploc baggie. I completely understand that the product can be misused, but some compromise really should be made to accommodate the senior customers who don't abuse the product. It should be very easy to make the packaging openable without tools!

I am currently plagued with severe gastrointestinal symptoms and pretty much any food I eat goes LITERALLY right through me. I have to get up after a few bites to "get rid of it", but this helps me at least sit long enough to finish a meal and absorb some nutrients. Packaging isn't an issue for me.

Packaging is awful. How many bad reviews do you need to fix the issues? I take all the pills out of the packages when I buy them and at least have quick access when I need them. Product works fine. Packaging is the worst.

It's ridiculous!! I have to cut the bubbles with scissors and then put the pills into a separate bottle that I've marked "Imodium"', so I can grab a pill when I need one. Come on, people... It shouldn't be necessary to hermetically seal these pills! What's the point of making the ability to access medication nearly impossible for your customers? Just put the wretched things into a freaking bottle! Or at least in a wrap that can be easily punctured with a fingernail. Because a hacksaw shouldn't be necessary!!. Pepto Bismal, here I come...

The packaging renders the tablets almost unusable. (Look for the version without child-proof packaging, those are better. Hard to find though.). To the company: stop answering all these messages with “call us”. You KNOW what the problem is. It can be fixed. Just fix it.

Whoever created the packaging for these caplets should be tested for psychosis. I've broken into safes easier than opening one of these caplets. The CEO should be made to open one of these things without scissors. Record that and post it online. I've had 2 bowel movements in the time it took me to open this contraption.
