This gate is very sturdy and reliable. installing this gate was so simple and easy to do. my husband loves how easy it is to open and close. my toddler do not like it because he can not figure out to open it like the previous baby gate. its so pretty love that it comes with extension so we plan on moving it upstairs since the baby is crawling now. Good construction and solid wood .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleasantly surprised with this baby and dog gate from Ingenuity. The gate is made of good quality and I love that it is customizable. It’s lightweight and I love the blonde wood base color. It’s got a very minimalist, simple look out of the box. Love how durable and secure this gate is. It was very easy to install. I appreciate that the full gate door swings open in both directions. Love that there is not a trip hazard at the bottom of the gate like you see with some gates. Overall a great basic gate that is stable, secure and nice looking. Highly recommend this baby and dog gate!

The center section rolls out like wooden mattress slats and feels flimsy, especially considering the force a toddler might apply. While the gate looks nice, I wouldn’t recommend it based on durability.

We pressure mounted ours and it’s very sturdy. It can also be hardware mounted if preferred. We’ve only had it up for a couple weeks but it definitely seems like it will stand up to our 3 kids and dog!

I LOVE this. The wood is high quality, so I’m not worried about my dogs or toddlers damaging it. Staining it was super easy and took almost no effort. It does its job and looks cute doing it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wood gate looks really nice and since it can be painted or stained, it will blend seamlessly for most homes, which is a big plus. You have the option to hardware mount (hardware included) or pressure mount and the ability to extend the gate from 30 to 36 inches. For now, we have this as-is (no stain or paint) and pressure mounted. It was pretty quick to assemble and install the gate, although I do intend to stain it eventually. The gate is easy to open and operate.

I’ve never seen one like this one and it is hands down my favorite. It’s sturdy, safe and actually looks good in my home because you can customize it!! I love that the wood panels come ready to paint or stain and honestly it looks beautiful just left natural. We did stain in a beautiful mahogany. We used the pressure mount option. Easy to do and no damage to our walls at all. The height is just right to keep both my toddler and infant safe without feeling like a fence. Setup was simple and it fits our space perfectly.

We use it at the top of our stairs and I have had to move it to different doorways depending on where my kids are playing and it is so easy to attach to a new door. There is an extension that lets it adapt to many sized door ways and it swings open completely which I love!
