This gate pressure mounts easily and securely without the use of hardware or tools. The Quick-Fit mechanism brings innovation to a whole new level with a high-density ratchet system designed to take the frustration out of installation. As the ratchet system engages, it 'clicks' the gate in place for a custom fit. This gate measures 29.5 to 50 inches wide and is an extra-tall 31 inches high. The sturdy wood frame of this gate is made from American sustainable hardwood making it extremely durable. This wood comes from USA sustainable forests which are carefully managed so that trees are replaced with seedlings as they mature and fall. These efforts help to preserve the natural environment in which we live. The core strength and stability of this gate makes it a must have to keep little ones ages 6 to 24 months of age safe. Q: Will a small kitten get through the holes?

A: Thank you for your question. Because every pet is different, we cannot say with certainty whether or not your kitten would be able to fit through the mesh openings. To help you determine, the size of the openings are approximately 2.5" x 2".

Q: Does this baby gate work with the suction cups on painted walls? Or does it only work on a smooth surface like a door frame?

A: Thank you for your question. The Quick Fit Wire Mesh Baby Gate is a pressure mounted gate that requires a flat, even surface for mounting. While it does not use suction cups, it does require using sockets that affix to the mounting surface with double-sided tape pads.

Good if you don’t need to move it
It does the job. But it can certainly be difficult to move if need be. The wood itself is good quality, but if you have this in a moderate to high traffic area of your home invest in one that is a door. Moving this sucker is a pain and the older kids tend to just pull up on it and move it out of the way which causes the pieces that stick on the wall to come off occasionally. If you don’t plan on moving it very often it’s great.

Keeping babies safe
The Toddleroo by North States Quick-Fit Wire Mesh Wood Gate lives up to its name. The installation was very easy and quick. The gate is sturdy and gives me peace of mind knowing my babies are not going where they are not supposed to.

Win win
This was so easy to sent up. It fit perfectly in my door way and didn’t mess up my walls when I took it off. That’s a win for me! The height was perfect and it was surprisingly sturdy. I loved the neutral colors.

Would not buy again
Flimsy, splintery, and loose as the gate does not allow for more granular adjustments. the sticky pads used for the wallcaps are very poor quality. Most of them tore past the sticky layer.

Perfect gate
This new age gate is amazing, the oversized structure is great to keep your baby safe, it’s lightweight and easy to work with. I love the tab to switch from a full size down to any other size to fit any doorway or steps. I would for sure recommend to others

Best out there
We loved this north state baby gate as our little one is running around and into everything. With this we can set it up in the hallway to keep him from running into the bathroom and destroying everything. It's very sturdy and well made so it's not something that he can just push over like other ones. Other ones between the one year old and the dogs it would be destroyed within a day but here we are almost 2 months in and its still just as sturdy as the day we got it. It was very easy to set up as well.

Easy to use baby gate
This Toddleroo Quick-Fit Wire Mesh Baby Gate works so well and is easy to use. Installation was very easy and straightforward and we were able to use it in just a few minutes. It is lightweight and adjustable and removable when we need to. I would definitely recommend it!

Baby must have
Amazing little fence ! I love how there’s a clear view so my baby can see me. I loved how the fence has little holes rather than big slots because my baby is quite a trouble maker and will stand in the gate making the gates not last long due to the weight it has to carry. I have the gate in the laundry room because that’s where we tend to keep our chemicals at.

Multipurpose gate! good height
Absolutely love this gate. They height is great taller than the average baby gate. I used it at the bottom of the stairs to prevent a set of twins going up the stairs. Work’s wonderful and gets the job done. I also used it for when of my friends came over with her puppy and it worked great for that as well. The net is strong and not just plastic that can be cut easily.

I have a different version of this baby gate by Evenflo and honestly this one isn’t as great. I thought this one would be easier to adjust but it’s not. It doesn’t properly adjust for some doorway sizes and since the latch mechanism isn’t very adjustable and is only adjustable within an inch. My 2yo can easily push this over 🤣 so this would probably work best for a crawling aged baby and not a toddler

Great but cannot withstand a 4 year old
This is a great gate - it sets up all around our house and we even use it on the front door when we are letting a breeze in but not kids out. However, my rambunctious 4 year old has figured out how to overwhelm the door, so it’s less useful when he is around. Works great for my 15 month old.

Works well if you don’t move it.
We got this gate for the bottom of our stairs because my husband didn’t want to drill into the posts, so the pressure mount felt like the best option. I like how it has little attachments that the gate slides into to hold it in place. But…. The gate itself is not necessarily easy to use. It takes a lot of practice before getting the hang of it. Good if you don’t plan to need to take it down often. Not so great if you want to easily take it down or move it.

Quality gate!
This gate is pretty awesome. It did exactly what I needed it to do which was stop my toddler from having access to certain parts of my home. It is super easy to adjust in length and i really like that it has these extra pieces that go on sides of the gate to have it attached to the wall. It also stands taller than other baby gates I have had in the past so this was better for my son since he likes to climb and the taller aspect of it deters him from doing so. I definitely plan to use this gate as long as the age requirements allow me to.

Serves its purpose
This gate serves, its purpose, however, it’s not as strong as some other baby gates I’ve used. Would not use this gate. If you, like me, have a highly energetic and crafty toddler would work well to keep small pets out of the room.

Not a gate for my family
I have other Todleroo gates and I love the other types, but this variation did not do it for me. It is of a nice quality but "quick fit" doesn't really make for a good gate. Where other gates have points that can be adjusted to fit walls, this one has one extender that moves the whole gate. I found that 2 of the three walls left the gate too loose to use. Even on the good fit, you would need to screw in the attachments to have stability. Lastly, the instructions were bad and the gate is not intuitive. Youtube is your friend with this. I reccomend going with their other versions. I recieved this free for review.

Nice gate
This is a really nice baby gate or even pet gate for smaller animals. It is tall enough that the kids cannot climb over it. It fits snug. I have used it to separate our cats, as well as the kiddos. One day something got burned in the kitchen. I needed to be able to open the door to air out the house, without everyone running out. This worked great, I wasn't sure if it would work there but it did. It is easily adjustable and very easy to work. I recommend it. It comes with separate little "cups" that you can attach to the doorway to hold the gate more securely in place.
