This is excellent.

The only reason that I wrote this review was because of all the negative reviews. The only problem that I have with this has been that I dropped the basket and a piece of the handle chipped.

Disappointed right out of the box

Received the Vortex for Father's Day and had a very simple question about packaging. Has four "rubber like" spacers on the tray. Appeared fastened rather securely. I only wanted to know if they should be preyed off or if they were to remain on. No word in the instructions, and a phone call(cut off 2times) sent me an email requesting photos, video of problem, copy of receipt (a gift) and language difficulty with representative. Well I preyed them off and I'll see what comes next. 🤷‍♂️

This thing is GREAT but it has a very short life

We bought our very first air fryer (this one) last year (Feb. 2025). Now May 2025 and the motor is making scary sounds, reset didn't do anything. We clean it and take good care. Disappointed. Wasted $$

Breaks at 13 months

It's garbage. Worked perfectly & was maintained immaculately. At 13 months (12 month warranty, these guys are GOOD at planned obsolescence) it completely died. Just blank screen, blank everything - a 3 lb paperweight. You guys are crooks. Don't waste your money unless you are looking for a 12 month rental. GARBAGE

I loved it until .....

The fan stopped after maybe using it 7 times. Only had it 9 days!! Wasn't even sure it wasn't working, it just wasn't making noise and there was a plastic odor. Going back today I will try another if they have one. Very disappointed.

Love this air fryer!

I love this air fryer! On all the good things about this air fryer - very large basket, interior light, viewing window, great for cooking and reheating, and ease of adjusting time/temperatures. We use it all the time!The only problem we have had is that the basket has to be pulled out all the way and put somewhere else on the counter as there is no 'holding point' when you pull it out partially. We have had 3 different people pull it out partway and let go (thinking it is safe) - then it continues to slide out and the basket falls to the floor where the handle breaks. Luckily we purchased it through Amazon and got their extended warranty and were able to get it replaced.

In India this product is the best.. superb quality, I have been using it for three years and absolutely satisfied.. have recommended this to few others and they too are extremely satisfied.. Did love it! Out of no where it's started making strange noises and the crisper plate now falls out, burned the heck out of myself because the plate just decided to fall out every time you dump food.

30 months disposable item

It was a great air fryer until about one year. First, the door cracked, then the silicone rubber on the tray broke, then the time numbers only partially display and now the "close door" message displays even though the door is closed! Garbage!

Product OK, 'instant' Pot company support bad

Is good until its not. Handle requires a bit of pressure to push in and out. Plastic that holds the handle to the basket cracked after 3 years of moderate use. They refused to help replace it or repair it. Told me 'buy a new one'. Product is still in production... they could easily send me a new basket.

We have purchased the Vortex Plus 6QT 4 times now,.... It would be a great Air Fryer -- IF IT LASTED.,...!!! -- At about 3 months the little tabs that trigger the 'CLOSE BASKET' switch wear out,.....So it will no longer allow you to cook anything,.....And at about 6 to 12 months something wears out on the Fan Motor so that it either rattles so much it slows and does not circulate the air or it stops rotating completely.We wish this product was made with quality parts and lasted,... however it is not even worth trying to send back for warranty repair,.... because it is stated that we must pay for the shipping both ways. So now we have 4 more thing to try to figure out how to dispose of,...... Yikes,.....!

Their products do not have longevity.

I officially had this product after 1 year and 1 month. Took great care of it. Just letting anyone who is thinking of buying it that it will only work well within 1 year. If you want an airfryer that last longer do not bother with instant pot products. Unfortunately it was out of warranty and they do not care. Their products do not have longevity.
