I have two children, this book contains fancier options like oso bucco and other items that are not really kid friendly. I wish it had simpler meals like Spaghetti and Meatballs!

This book is great for those just learning how to use the Instant Pot. I love that it gives realistic cooking time expectations -- including how long it takes for the pot to come up to pressure. This definitely a go-to if you're new to IP.

So far, we've tried about a half dozen recipes from this book. Most are for four people. We are two. Therefore we had to reduce the cooking time. We did and all of them turned out excellent!

There are a lot of recipes in this book, but they’re pretty obscure. Many call for ingredients the average family doesn’t keep on hand. I’ve had my new instapot for a week and haven’t used it yet. I suppose the cookbook isn’t very inspiring. It’s also pretty light in the pictures- also not terribly inspiring. Looks like I’m still on the hunt for an easy, simple, and inspiring instapot cookbook.
