A: On the four shelf unit. Each shelf is about 12.5 inches tall by 13.75 inches wide.

Q: is it possible to remove the bottom shelf (the wood piece and one of the bars supporting it), such that you could push something taller into that space under the rack?

Missing holes
There was no hole for the garment bar. I checked all 3 pieces for the missing holes. Even had my husband double check because I thought I was losing my mind. I had to use a drill to drill holes in it myself to finish putting it together.

wood came damaged
Very nice however the upper left wood piece came scratched. I spent two hours building it and this was the last part and noticed that it was scratched. it was too much work to just take apart now for a replacement for one piece being scratched however still upsetting
