The PartyLight Stick is a fun add on to the party box. It goes well with the party box to make more use of the lights because you can have an area totally lit up by the box and sticks. With the PartyLight Stick being run on battery it is easy to use anywhere because you don’t need a power cord if you are just using it for a few hours. I think two sticks works much better than just one for the ascetics. Connecting with the PartyBoost is pretty easy and smooth once I did the updates and use the app. While it’s fun, it is limited to working with PartyBoost speakers only. Unless you just have them running on their own at random in the background.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avesome lights they look very cool they help a lot to improve the environment you are at home or at any friends place they iluminate very cool and with very bright colors. My friends love it and they say they will buy it as soon as possible.

I have bought these lights (6) and they only last 1.5 hours. They don’t not stay on longer than that. I have returned then already once and the second batch has done it as well. If I can get some type of phone call or email to figure out what’s going with the lights. I used them for my venue space and they die before the party gets going. I love how they look but I can’t use them.

We got a set of 4 of these to add to Friday night party night and the kids dance party’s! While the sticks are fun and do provide a light show it is a colossal disappointment they are not backwards compatible with the 310 series speakers or the 1000. We have a party box 100, a pair of the 310’s and a 1000 and it won’t sync with any of them. I wish they would do a software update to utilize the TWS feature to pair the light sticks. It would get 5 stars if the sticks were compatible with the slightly older versions of speakers. Yes it does have a microphone but it’s a complete contrast to the speakers lighting profile, almost to the extend that you need to turn off the speaker lights or it looks awkward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Party Lightstick is pretty cool - HOWEVER I did think it was a speaker. It is not - it is just lights. It does however sync with certain JBL products. I use my party lights with my JBL Party Box speaker. You can sync the lights with the beat of song! The lights are also very bright, so if you are someone who throws parties, gatherings, bbq’s, etc, these are pretty cool with other speakers like the party box. The lights are also pretty tall so they are very stand out to people that come over.

Stick from JBL PartyBox gives cool effects when it is darker, shines in rhythm with music. It has a very large color tone. I recommend the entire JBL PartBox set, worth its price.

It uses the JBL PartyBox app to update and setup the partylight-stick. You can customize the color and light patterns with the app. The built-in mic makes the lights react to an sound around it.I have the PartyBox 120 and it syncs the color and pattern on the PartyBox. I like that you can adjust the brightness on the partylight-stick. We used it on karaoke night with the family. Everyone felt like a star.

My son really loved seeing the different colors and different sequences. With the app it was easy to customize the colors and sequences. I just wish there were more options with the sequences and also when customizing the pattern sequences I wasn’t able to choose the colors for each sequence. It was already pre set.

It looks very sleek and modern, while still being very light to carry around easily. It looks elevated as the bottom of the stick is not fully connected to the panel/stand. The circular stand makes the stick look futuristic and minimalistic. The bottom of the stick also produces light, and the continuous illumination delivers a light show that almost goes on the ground. Therefore, in addition to the actual stick, even the bottom of the stick is very engaging and a part of the light show. When paired with the PartyBox speaker, they present a consistent image. I really enjoy having them side by side and enhancing the party/vibes. The stick produces a powerful light show, filling an entire room or backyard, even in the daylight. It is effortless to set up and put away, making it very convenient for storing it safely and saving space when it’s not in use. Simultaneously, that convenience allows the stick to be easily carried anywhere. As it comes with an 8-hour battery life, the stick can be paired and used with the PartyBox speaker at any location, indoors and outdoors. _______________ Lighting Performance: The stick produces an amazing light show with the PartyBox speaker. It is equipped with 183 RGB LEDs that provide stunning 360-degree illumination. The 360-degree illumination can be adjusted to 180-degrees in the app to save battery if the back side of the stick is not visible to the audience or the user prefers less illumination. There are many modes that produce various cool transitions, motions, and effects all throughout the playing audio. The stick syncs with the inner circle colors (infinity icon-like lights) of the PartyBox. It does a great job of keeping up with the beats and switching colors rapidly. However, in some cases, if the colors change on the speaker and the lights on the stick are already in motion, it does finish the full motion for half a second to match the lights on the speaker afterward. But overall, it’s not disturbing or a deal-breaker at all. It’s important to note that the performance of the stick fully depends on the performance of the JBL speaker. Moving on, I was surprised to see how well the stick keeps up with the speaker in some modes and color combinations.
