  • A: Thanks for your inquiry. The earbuds are interchangeable, and a single earbud may be used. If the unused earbud is stored in the charging case the other is switched to mono mode. Details in Quick Start Guide included with the earbuds.

I bought this over a month ago and now I tried to use it . I charge it completely and then sync it with my phone but the headphone on the right side keeps disconnecting and now it’s not working at all. I also tried resetting it and syncing it again but it’s not working. I don’t have any issues with the other set I got . Little disappointed because I never had an issue with any of the others JBL products I got. Will gladly appreciate it’s someone can help me with that .

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is highly unusual for recently purchased unit. Since the issue persist after resetting the earbuds, it is possible that this is a charging issue, please try cleaning the charging points using an alcohol and cotton swab and gently clean the earbuds and the charging case.

The noise canceling is almost none existent. I can hear each car passing next to me, people talking and listening to music on the bus. After two years one of the buds decided that their battery life is going to be only 5mins and none of troubleshooting helped with that. They also not very comfortable, after 2hrs my ears hurt.

Bought these a couple of weeks ago, they do not stay in the ear while running, in fact they fall out even when you're just walking around. So if you're looking to do sports with these, stay well clear. They come in packaging that's impossible to not rip open... but you cannot return them unless they're in intact packaging. So, overall I am gutted I bought these

Good sound, works well for music. Love lots of the features, especially TalkThru and noise canceling. Ambient aware is okay, but TalkThru is better for hearing the environment when needed. What is DON'T like is that a) You can't adjust the music volume in TalkThru mode at all. Most of the time this isn't an issue, but I would like to be able to bump it up or down a bit sometimes. Also, I want to turn down (or even off) the volume of the voice feedback. When I change modes, I can hear which one it's on and I don't need some loud voice telling me what mode I changed to, especially when I go to TalkThru mode because someone walked up and started talking to me - "hey Ken, can you TALK THRU! by the end of the day?" I... uh... I'm, sorry, can you repeat that? It gets awkward, fast. Please fix, JBL? *workaround - wear an over the ears headset with these under it and on TalkThru mode all the time, then when someone comes up just take the headset off. It's not ideal, but it *is* effective...

To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal or you may use the Check My Best Fit feature test on the JBL Headphones app to find your own unique fit. ANC doesnt works well. The headphones keep on falling out from the ear even though i have changed the ear tips you have to really press them hard into your ear for them to stay there. But the biggest turn off is the ANC function. If you are buying it for Music they are great but not for answering calls or attending meetings

I bought to try out to use in my lawncare business. The unfortunate thing with some is they claim noise cancellation, but you have to turn up the volume so loud you are damaging your hearing. They also seem to stay in are very comfortable.

Terrible product, it misses on almost every level. The earbuds are too big and constantly fall out of your ears despite the adjustment bands. They sit poorly in the charger and often times don't turn off when put away. The battery life is abysmal when they do charge and despite some amount of waterproofing, the speakers started crackling when slightly misted and have done that ever since. The one decent spot is that the sound quality is decent but frankly, who cares if they won't stay in your ear, will run out of battery quickly, and are already breaking with light use.

It is possible that there is a foreign object that blocks the pins of the earbuds and the case that causes it not to power off and charge properly when the charging case is closed. This can include sweat, grease, ear wax, etc. We recommend cleaning it with a cotton swab and alcohol. If you need more help, please contact us.

I think the sound quality is great and I like the look of them and the case they come in is nice. Definitely a quality design. However, I bought these for exercising and no matter which tips or wings I try, they simply won’t stay in my ears. In the fit test, I can’t seem to get a good fit in one of my ears. I think the issue is the shape of the body of the bud just can’t fit snugly in my ears. Maybe this is more a review of my weirdly shaped ears. The other issue is that many times I’m putting them in, something happens with the noise cancelling that causes the buds to temporarily make either an ear splitting chirping noise or a low rumbling bass. Both are kind of a rapid pulse. Finally, when I’m trying to stuff them in (which can be quite tricky and painful for my ears) I usually end up touching the outside of the bud in a way that activates the controls accidentally. Kind of a hassle. I really wanted to like these headphones because others seem to swear by them, but unfortunately I think I’ll be returning them.

If you still have sound issues with your headphones, please check the equalizer settings of your phone and set it to default. We also recommend trying to connect it with a different device or play audio using a different application. You may also try doing a Factory Reset. Reset may fix the issue, much in the way rebooting a computer or phone fixes many problems. And then you will have to manually re-pair again. This will wipe all previous settings and pairings, so it will be necessary to pair your unit with your devices again. To do this, With both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. If you need more help, please contact us.

Good hardware, terrible software. Used for just over a year or 2, both earbuds in theory still function, but the left disconnects and will not reconnect after playing music for <5 seconds. All tips to resolve such as resetting/re-pairing have failed, overall pretty disappointing given the price point.

I have used JBL products for years and have been very happy with them all. The problem with these wireless earbuds is not the product so much as they are incompatible with my ears(!?). Absolutely can not keep them in place. I have had other JBL wireless and true wireless that have worked just fine. Well, mostly fine. The reason for this purchase was to replace the pair that fell out while I was running and were ran over by passing car.
