JBL Xtreme 4 Portable Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker

I bought the JBL Xtreme 4 last summer and love it!

I bought this today! Have had it playing through out the day on and off battery mode. Plugged in mode definitely gives the sound output its full potential. But battery mode is still plenty enough to have decent volume and sound for what it is. The design look is nice. But hilarious at the same time. I first looked at it in person ages ago. And thought, "it looks like it is pregnant!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But thats because of the giant rechargeable AND replaceable battery, that jbl shoe horned in to it! Also shared by the PARTYBOX STAGE 320. A brilliant move by the company! In a consumerist and throw away society. It's fantastic that I can keep the speaker for many a years ahead and only have to replace the battery and not have to either throw away or pull apart to change the battery. Which is a main killer of bluetooth speaker ownership these days! GOOD JOB JBL!!!! LOVE IT!

I got a JBL flip 6 for the misses for taking to our work as we both work in a kitchen We needed something loud and flip 6 was good but the misses didn’t want hers to get dirty so I got this for myself. The speaker filled the kitchen with music from one end to the other with ONLY being at 60% or 70% volume. The kitchen I work in is the biggest in Manchester (north west England). When I put it to 100% at the end of the night the music was really pumping, my coworkers had to shout to communicate to each other. The max sound of this is about 100 DBs depending on the song. I could use this from 8am till 10pm and the battery had never gone below 20%. There is a ubs-c port on the back to charge the speaker but can also use that port to charge your phone so that’s handy too. This is pricy but if you need a big space to fill with music and something that will last all day this is definately a premium choice.

Bought this a few weeks ago. Sounds amazing. The sound is amazing compared to all my other portable speakers. Clear audio and can be so loud. It’s been loud enough to be out during a sailing day or louder than a tractor engine. It really is amazing. It is a bit pricey for speakers of this range but it is worth it. For any watersports people it’s waterproof, AND IT FLOATS!

I brought this a month ago and the product has been amazing in all ways!

I just got it yesterday and it can make noise for the whole car. You can hear a little bit of it if you are outside the car door is closed which is honestly impressive to me. My friends have told me that there is more bass in this model of Extreme, if you haven't owned a midsize speaker I would definitely pick this one over the Extreme 3 and that's coming from someone who owned the 3. Great battery life also.

I have had my extreme 4 for approximately one month and the sound just amazes me. The speaker has the deep rich signature JBL sound that JBL speakers are known for. The louder the speaker the better it sounds, my football tailgates are so much better with this speaker!

I bought this as an outdoor speaker to put on my lanai. I was a little disappointed because when it arrived and I had unpacked it I noticed that there is white marks on the black rubber surrounds of the speakers. Not sure if this was caused by the material that was used to pack but i have tried to remove the white marks but have not been able to.

This is a great travel companion, we recently spent time travelling around Scotland and wanted a speaker to keep us company while we move about, so it had to be something easily portable which this one is. We went with a black coloured one which is a lot seeker in my opinion and the sound, which is the most important part is a. Gazing, especially in a wide open space where you would think the sound would get lost, but it just doesn't. Battery was a concern for us too, but in the whole trip we only charged it once which is amazingly good battery considering the usage time.
