A: Everyone around you can hear what you’re listening to

A: Just got these and tested this out. When using my iPhone and putting the volume at 75% or higher, others around you can hear what you are listening to very clearly. If volume is around 30-50% you can hear it but not as clearly or as loud.

A: Yes! I wore these for a (very slow) half-marathon and they stayed put. I’ve also worn them biking on road & trails and while hiking without issue. I was skeptical when I first got them but have been very happy with them.

A: Yes!!! They will NOT MOVE!

A: They would stay cuffed on your ear.

A: Hi Lito89, great question! The short answer, is no the Flex have no amplification abilities. They, in fact, allow you to hear things around you, while still hearing music. More of an awareness thing, than amplification abilities. I hope that helps!

A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about JLab Flex True Wireless Bluetooth Open-Ear Earbuds. 👉 No — JLab Flex open‑ear earbuds are NOT hearing aids and won’t really improve hearing like one. 🎧 What these earbuds actually do They are open‑ear audio earbuds Designed to: Play music Let you still hear the environment (so you stay aware) 👉 They don’t amplify sound the same way hearing aids do ❌ Why they don’t work as hearing aids 1. No proper sound amplification Hearing aids: Boost specific frequencies based on hearing loss JLab earbuds: Just play audio normally 👉 They don’t “enhance” speech or filter noise 2. No speech clarity processing Real hearing aids: Focus on voices Reduce background noise These: Do NOT filter or improve speech clarity 3. No medical tuning Hearing aids are: Calibrated to your ears/hearing profile These: One-size-fits-all ⚠️ What they can do (limited) You might use them in a basic way: Play audio louder from your phone (like a “listening aid” app) Slightly boost volume if you’re struggling 👉 But: ❗ It’s very basic ❗ Not reliable or clear ❗ Can actually sound worse in noisy environments If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
