Q: Can I use it in place of Bisquick?

  • A: They have separate mixes for pancakes, because the pancakes contain sugar. I have tried their pancake mix and it is really very good. There are online recipes to make your own mixes that use flour, powdered buttermilk, sugar, dried eggs, and the ingredients all but oil and water, they are shelf stable and look beautiful in a clear canister. You might think the ingredients are expensive but you can make so many mixes, it is definitely cheaper and just as easy!

Not good

King Arthur flour and mixes are not good. I think the name is not the quality it once was. Every bag of flour I have bought I have had to throw away. It seems spoiled or rancid. Same for the cake mixes.
