When I opened the box the flour was ripped open and all over the box, it was not put in a plastic bag to protect it from the 5 cans of sweet corn. All 5 can of corn are all dented

Of course I give flour 5 stars but everything I have ordered up to now has been packed great for shipping. This flour was not wrapped & it was torn at bottom So at least 1/4 of bag was all over inside of box, not going to ship it back . I will be reordering at a future date but recommend you put shrink wrap around all flour or any bag with loose powder or flour or sugar so it doesn’t spill by getting torn in box as it makes its way to us, So far everything else has been perfect!!!

I have tried biscuits twice ,both times failed I am trying for low sodium diet. they were heavy and very wet

Thank you for your review and we apologize for any issues with the biscuit recipe. It may help to reduce the amount of milk to 3/4 cup; you can add the remaining 1/4 milk in if needed. It can also help to place the dough in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes after adding the milk and mixing. This helps the flour absorb the milk and can make the dough a little easier to work with. I ordered this flour several months ago and have had it waiting in my pantry for the day when it is cool enough here in Texas to bake bread. Yesterday was the day. This is the best flour I have ever used. It is very responsive to the yeast and is stable with less salt. I used half the yeast and half the salt required with excellent results. The bread rose perfectly and has a beautiful texture.

Great Baking With A Quality Flour
Always fresh, quality flour that gives excellent baking results for cakes, muffins, cookies, etc. The flour imparts a good taste to my baked goods. And I even use the flour when I make impossible pie! While I get a reasonable loaf of bread when using my bread machine, I prefer the bread flour which has been locally difficult to find lately. I tip my hat to Bob’s Red Mill with thanks for great products!

Light and fluffy pancakes
I love it! Just opened the bag to make pancakes today and they came out even better than with the regular white flour we had been using. The pancakes came out light and fluffy even though we used 50% whole wheat flour in the recipe.

Great product, great company, great service.
This is my favorite all purpose organic flour. Just purchased 8, 5lb bags, as we approach the holiday baking season. I love to bake cookies, quick and yeast breads and rolls and weekly batch of sourdough. This flour works great in every application, as well as for making gravy or roux. I love knowing Bob's Red Mill is an employee owned, 'made from scratch" Oregon business with a wonderful back story. While this product does contain gluten, I also frequently purchase several of the helpful gluten free Bob's products, particularly the cup for cup all purpose gluten free four. Great products. Great company. Fast online ordering and delivery.
