Medium/Firm Premium Cooling Dual Layer Memory Foam Pillow - Casaluna™

I’ve been using the Standard/Queen Medium/Firm Premium Cooling pillow for a few weeks now, and it’s been a game-changer for my sleep. This standard queen pillow came well packaged and surpassed my expectations. It’s full, comfortable, soft but firm and of great quality. I’ve used it for two weeks and it still look the same without flattening out. I’ve had good sleep and even purchased more.

I have a love hate relationship with this Casaluna Cooling dual layer pillow. I like that is is softer on one side and when you flip it is a nice firm pillow. The firmer side is memory like foam, the softer side is like a standard pillow. I can get the best of both worlds in one pillow depending of what I'm needing. Do I find this pillow cooling? Nope, not at all. Is this pillow going to be easy to wash? Hmm I'm thinking it will be challenging. When the zipper works you remove the memory foam and the rest of the pillow is one solid piece to be washed. Putting the Memory foam back in is a chore of it's own. Then getting the zipper back zipped up without it coming apart is just plain out frustration. The zipper is either badly made or I just happened to get one that has issues. So.... I like the dual comfort, I like the idea, I wish it actually was cooling And it definitely needs a better zipper closure.

I love how comfortable this pillow has been for me while I’m sleeping. The memory foam forms to my head while I’m on it. On one side of the pillow it’s quilted and the other it’s smooth, so I have options on how I want my pillow. I also love that it’s cooling because I normally get hot at night but have not while using this pillow.

This pillow is quite firm and stays firm, so I don't find it that comfortable enough for sleeping. I'm hoping it flattens a bit, but the foam is pretty stiff. I've mostly been using it as back support while sitting in bed. I like that it is machine washable. It has a zipper that allows you to remove the foam layer so you can wash the outer layer. It seems like a durable pillow that will last for some time.

This pillow is a bit unusual. It reminds me of when mattresses switched from being 2 sided to one sided. There is a quilted side to this pillow and a flat, cool memory foam side. The pillow is fairly high and as stated medium/firm. I am a back sleeper and didn't like it. My wife is a side sleeper and didn't like it. I am not sure who it would work for given the unusual design - perhaps decorative or to lean against when sitting up.

I didn't realize how flat and in-need-of-replacement my old pillow was until I used this one. I agree with medium-firm rating. I am glad it's not immediately molding to my head. It offers support without being body and without my head sinking all the way into it.

I’m so obsessed with this! I love the cooling effect, and the back of the pillow is so silky and soft. It’s very large and almost doesn’t fit into a queen pillow case. It’s very firm and so comfortable to sleep on all night. Definitely buy this!

Mixed feelings on this cooling pillow! It’s certainly comfortable and the cooling layer is quite plush. It’s a great size, shape and texture. I’m concerned with its durability, however. The cover arrived with loose threads, and the removable insert doesn’t look well constructed. The zipper is also fragile. Other positives include the quilted fabric on the cooling side and the dense filling. Time will tell whether the pillow maintains its shape and form. The cooling feature does work well.
