Good small diameter to waste less apple. Overpriced vs. competitors. Center circle not "tightly wound" enough to be as sharp as possible. (Don't know best words to describe)

This slicer began rusting after six months

I just love this cutter. I use it all the time and I have had it for several months now. Just as good as pampered chef-dare I say that 🫣

Not very sharp and doesn't cut all the way through. Difficult to cut a large apple.

Extremely disappointed with this purchase. Bought the KitchenAid slicer over others, because of the name. It LOOKED sturdy. Not the case though. Have had just over a year, went to slice an apple and heard a distinct crack. I couldn't finish slicing the apple...and lucky I don't keep going or I likely would have ended up getting cut in the process. Might I also add like others on here, that the slicer is also not great in general. Handles cutting small softer apples fine, but after just a few uses, you had to then put force into cutting any medium sized apples. Considering this is a KitchenAid, it's pretty sad. Although this isn't a high dollar item if their's, they should still be making quality products regardless of the price point. I have reached out to KitchenAid, but have yet to get a response. We will see. My understanding is that they guarantee their products for life. We shall see.

Worked great for quite awhile became rusty after sometime. We did not wash it by hand, we used the top rack of the dishwasher, so definitely recommend washing by hand if you’re planning on purchasing it.

This is such an awesome tool! Just put in apple an push, bamm Perfect apple slices. I love easy!

Very sharp—cut myself multiple times

Works okay if you have smaller apples however I could not get it to cut through a granny smith apple. Perhaps I'm not strong enough

It's not better or worse than any other apple cutter I've owned. I feel like the same factory makes these items but just slaps different brand names on the product. This slicer doesn't cut all the way through the bottom of the apple. I have to pull the apple slices off the core.

I’ve been waiting a apple cutter for forever! Cuts really well.

I bought this a couple of years ago. Today I tried to slice an apple with it & the metal pieces broke away from the plastic & busted into pieces, slicing my hand in the process.

Cuts fruit like it's suppose too!

It’s easy to use. My 9 year old uses it to cut her apples. I took off 1 star because I’ve had it less than a month. So I will update after using for a while.
