  • How to Use
  • Step 1. With slightly damp hair, take a section of hair & start rolling up from the end upwards toward scalp. Tuck hair securely so that the ends of your hair do not stick out. Step 2. Roll upwards until taught against scalp & then bend the ends of the roller to secure it in place.
  • Step 3. Continue this process with the next roller until all rollers are in place & secure.
  • Step 4. Wear overnight or allow hair to fully dry. Remove & style to enjoy beautiful heatless curls!
  • PRO TIP: The smaller the sections, the tighter the curls. Depending on hair length and thickness, you may want to consider multiple sets of Satin-Wrapped Flexi Rods.

Q: Are these machine washer/ dryer safe?

submitted by perfect - 20 days ago
  • A: Our Satin Flexi Rods are not recommended for machine wash/dryer. For best care, we recommend hand-washing them in cold water and air drying only. Please avoid wringing or using bleach, as these can damage the material.

Q: How do these work for medium hair length?

submitted by Layla - 23 days ago
  • A: Technique: While wrapping the hair around the rod, make sure to twist it tightly and ensure that the ends are securely tucked in. This helps prevent the hair from slipping down the rod. Secure with Clips: If the rods slip, secure them in place with flat-lay claw clips or bobby pins at the base. Use a Scarf, Sleep Cap or Bonnet: Wearing a silk or satin scarf or bonnet over the rods while sleeping can help keep them in place, especially if you plan to keep them overnight. Avoid Overloading Products: Using too many heavy products can weigh down thin hair and cause the rods to slip. Stick to lightweight products specifically designed for thin or fine hair. Kindly note that creating heatless curls with flexi-rods can be a trial-and-error process, especially with shorter hair. Keep experimenting to find the perfect technique for your unique hair. :)

These work SOOOO well. They are very easy to sleep with them in your hair. My hair comes out nice and curly when I remove them in the morning. No more hot rollers! Soft but sturdy. Made well.

I have below the shoulder length hair and struggled to keep my hair in the rollers no matter how I rolled them. The advertising clip made it look so effortless but it certainly wasn't like that for me !! I will persist though !!

Love this company and many of the products they make but this is not it. I actually bought these at Ulta and then spent hours trying to figure out how to use them. I couldn't find full tutorials on these and the ones I did find they skipped over how to actually make them sty in your head. I ended up returning sadly. I feel like this needs to be more grip and close differently. I literally have no clue how gals get them in or even how the picture here was created

I absolutely love my Satin Flexi rods. I used them the first time and they were so easy to work with. I got beautiful loose curls that stayed all day in the heat and humidity. Definitely plan on using them often.

Disappointed with Satin Rollers

I'm usually a big fan of Kitsch products—they're consistently well-made and thoughtfully designed. That's why I was excited to try the satin rollers. Unfortunately, I just can't seem to get them to work for me. I've used many types of heatless curlers in the past, but these slip out of my hair almost immediately, no matter how I position or secure them. I'm starting to wonder if the satin material might be the issue for my hair type, and whether the velvet version would have been a better choice. I wish I had known this before ordering, as the set wasn't inexpensive and I was really looking forward to using them regularly. I'd love to know if anyone else has had a similar experience—or if Kitsch has any suggestions or options for exchanging for the velvet version. I'm super bummed they're not working out, but I'm still hopeful there might be a solution!

Sadly, its been living in its box, after many many failed attempts to use it note, these are not my first rods, I've tried better ones the buttons are too small, making it difficult to grasp when attaching or trying to detach. so you end up pulling out you hair trying to locate that tiny click button! but more importantly the rods simply do not stay in, and slide off instantly!

A bit difficult to use, especially on very long hair, but the result is really nice - not super longlasting, but OK.
